But Brave is fast, not slow.

A speed of 1.74 puts Brave at just about Young Link speed

He's about middle of the road in the grand scheme of things. 2.55 his the highest (discounting Sonic since he skews the average as the only one at 3.85) and the lowest is 1.12. A Speed of 1.74 puts you fairly high up 37th overall out of a (currently known) roster of 73 total characters.

There are a lot of QoL changes they could do to Ultimate with this update but I doubt any will happen
-Add Youtube/Twitter uploading with replays
-Just allow us to make use of the 30-second recording the Switch has built-in
-Allow the option to "lock" certain parts of preferred rules so you're never matched against someone with, say, FFAs or items on
-Allow us to change Arena rules without closing them
-Make burying times proportional to how hard it is to land the move
-Allow us to copy My Music settings from one stage to another

I think we can expect a Nintendo direct soon.

- Update 2.0.0 was leaked, and 2.0 updates usually have something big with them
- Piranha Plant's preorder time ends January 31, the character probably is already complete by this point, so we can expect their release soon
- Nintendo Directs are usually held near or during the weekend, February 1st is a Friday

It's very likely for a Direct to be held between February 1st and 15th
