The weird thing about Capcom’s problem with 3D faces is that it mostly happens in the fighting games alone.
Because then there are games like Megaman 11, what we have seen from Devil May Cry V and the Resident Evil games; where the faces are actually done better.

Maybe the problem relies on the team in charge of the fighting games?

Apples and oranges.

Megaman used cartoonish designs that are easy to model and DMC5 has motion capture to help them with realistic faces. Fighting games like Infinite and SFV has neither.

But I am tempted about the idea of Kratos meeting Pit and Palutena.

My bet is that he would try to separate Pit from any god or goddess before he believes that the ego of the gods has already consumed him and can’t be saved.
