I used to own a handful of 32x games as well but I sold that collection when I moved across the country. I never played any of them but Knuckles Chaotic so I'm content with just owning the add-on itself. I get more use out of the Sega Master System attachment.

You're right. That makes me very mad. I kind of want to do a B&E at his place if you're in.

My only lucky get came from my brother's friend who bought a shoebox of SNES games at a garage sale thinking he'd buy an SNES later, then four years later just gave it to my brother instead, who then gave it to me because I actually own an SNES. While none of them had their boxes, I got free copies of Super Metroid, Secret of Mana, DOOM, Mario is Missing and Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World on one cartridge, along with a bunch of junk I probably won't play. It was like 15 cartridges.

Also I picked up a near-mint copy of JSRF's limited run for Xbox for $2 once because they priced it as if it were the JSRF/Sega GT Rally combo. That was a steal.

It certainly is. I'm well aware of Sega's history and how the Dreamcast was dead before they even released it.

That said, while the 3DS did well enough, it never reached the success of the DS, and the home console business for Nintendo, other than the Wii, has always underperformed since the mid-90s. With Iwata's death and new management now in charge, it's not unreasonable to think that if the Switch failed just like the Wii U at the same time that Nintendo started to dip its toes into smart phone games and the 3DS was finally ending, Nintendo's top brass would decide to pull out of home console hardware to focus on software on other consoles and their next big portable. Only a hypothetical but a reasonable hypothetical.

The key difference would be that unlike Sega, they wouldn't be out of money and need to get bailed out by a holding company that dictates what they do from now on. They'd still be Nintendo.

I started saying Y'all by accident and I can't stop so I just accepted it.

There was a period I felt tortured because I couldn't stop accidentally saying "lol" out loud

Speaking of words that we can’t stop saying without thinking...
Osby made me realize that I use the word “dope” to describe almost everything I watch, read, play or bought.

Should I try to stop saying “dope”?

As for me, I don't really care if I agree or disagree with your (general, as in non-specific person) perceived gender.
I, by principle, call you by whatever terms you wish because I respect you as a person and that's all there is to it.

As long as you'll forgive accidental slipups now and again, because it's not a commonplace situation for me to address people as such.

Funnily enough, the Portuguese word for "ship"(navio) is actually male.
Unless you translate ship to "nave" which is female but it refers to space ships, not sea ships.

Since watching Brutalmoose's Shenmue playthrough I've been saying "YO DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!!" a lot more lol

Most of the time I refer to anyone by their name, and sometimes with “contrera/contreras”.

When I am online, I tend to say “the user/the users”.

Honestly if we're still talking about DQ, my main gripes for Dragon Quest lie on Square than Smash itself.

I don't understand how when the Switch was known as the "NX", that Dragon Quest XI was the very first title announced for it, told us nothing about it literally up until just recent with the livestreams and now the Direct, especially when Dragon Quest XI when the Switch port is released will be a year since it had already been out...

Like I know Square is trying their best with trying to get Dragon Quest known in the west, but man that segment for XI S 356/2 Days HD felt out of place, when you look at the grand scheme of things, especially when it's already out. Hell, I feel a bit bad for PS4 owners since Switch owners practically have everything that should've been in the base game.

I just hope if DQ does happen to crossover with Smash, it can just be "okay, he's here, let's just move on to the next fighter". I can already tell the reveal will cause heavily mixed reactions, but I hope it'll be quick and we move onto the third character.

I have no issues acknowledging that series' chances. WHat's annoying is how so many people lauded it like it was a gurantee becuase Verge leaked it.

My mother said that she went to see Monthy Python and The Holy Grail back when it released on cinemas with her friends... And they had to leave the theather because one of them could literally not breath from the laughs she was having with the movie.

All that said, is it weird that I use "dude" as a gender neutral nickname that encompasses literally everyone regardless of gender and biological build?

I dunno, it just kinda feels as natural for me as using the f-word as an added exclamation mark of sorts in spoken conversations.

If I’m not mistaken, a scene around this one was playing when my mother had to leave the cinema with her friends, including the one who couldn’t breath from the laughs she was having with the movie.

As someone who also saw the movie, I have to admit that the movie is indeed that hilarious.
