I can't get over F!Byleth's stomach window, like why is it there
Is it trying to be fancervicy? It's literally just a stomach lmao and why are her leggings so ripped is she ok did she fall down a ditch

I was actually pleasantly surprised that I could make both Robin and Corrin into a pink/short-haired scarfaced/closeeyed dwarf. That will forever be who I remember as my Robin and Corrin, even if I never finished Fates off to begin with.

Listen I can understand them trying to make it fanservicy or whatever, like I would be weirded out but I could at least understand it, but the issue is that it's as if the original concept was fanservicy but they had to tone it down to just a stomach window (wtf) and cheap ripped leggings so now it's like an awkward middle ground, and compared with how M!Byleth's armor is like super serious and practical (sorta) and badass looking it's like they wanted to make her irrelevant

It's Fire Emblem, where Linde got in the Warriors game not because of her backstory, personality, abilities or anything like that, but because she apparently has nice feet

Also can we talk about Three Houses being what the franchise needed? It looks like it takes places in the 1700's instead of the usual medieval times which is aesthetically very refreshing and if I understand the teaching mechanic correctly, you can potentially make any unit a game breaking unit, that's exciting as hell! Also they haven't shown Supports yet which has me believe they're dropping the dating sim aspect, which is ok I suppose for any other game but very good here if my assumptions are right, as being a teacher dating students is pretty ick

I really hope they either change Byleth's default outfit(lmao not happening) or allow us to customize her costume. Considering how cutscenes are being handled though, I doubt there will be any sort of customization but I don't really want to play as the male one. Robin was the only well-designed avatar, you can't change my mind.
I already have to choose between two great Lords, this game asks too much of me.

Talking about Linde’s feet, that was Koei Tecmo and now I’m a bit worried for Three Houses because Koei Tecmo is codeveloping. Hopefully it’s only for grunt work since IS needs to transition from 240p 3DS games to an HD Switch game.

They showed some sort of support mechanic but it might be heavily reworked and restricted.

Also, am I the only one getting Valkyria Chronicles vibes from Three Houses?

I think that was rumored to be made by Retro Studios, who now have something else on their plate as though they have nothing better to do. The heck happened?

It’s very reminiscent of Valkryia Chronicles 2, which had the military school setting. Same with Trails of Cold Steel.

Wasn't MP4 given to them? Maybe they delayed/gave up on SF Grand Prix because now they're too busy

Or maybe we all got bamboozled by bad info and fake leaks ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

All I want retro to do is release a third DKC game and then the series can rest for a bit. But c'mon, you can't bring the series back for two games and not complete the trilogy.

Also no idea what happened to Start Fox Grand Prix tbh

tbh I have zero ****ing clue what the **** is going on in Astral Chain. Though it may he the only cop game I'll allow

They didn't: but you gotta have a modern trilogy to mirror the old one - you can't just be like 'here are two great games, but no third one'. The Kong requires closure.
