Okay, before I go to bed. Here's how I think Three Houses' Weapon/Class system will work.

All units can Class Change into (almost) any class, provided they have sufficiently trained in the requisite Weapon Types. This gives the player the same amount of options as in Shadow Dragon and New Mystery, but makes it a system that requires player input and time/resource management to access,

Since they showed you need training in Axes to Class Change into the Brigand class (this is shown in the trailer, when they reclass Edelgard into a Brigand), it seems like weapons are still locked to relevant classes. Presumably, you would need training in Swords, Lances and Riding to reclass into a Cavalier, and Lances and Flying (maybe also Riding) to become a Pegasus Knight and that kind of thing.
Apparently Mario Maker 2 has a coin gate checkpoint, where you can't collect the checkpoint until you get a certain number of coins.

That could make for some interesting level designs.

Like, the first half of the level is split into two routes, an easier one with no coins, and a harder one with coins.

Then, the second half of the level is a single, somewhat difficult section.

So you can either power through the level in one go, or go the more difficult route to reach the checkpoint and have somewhere to start from, or something like that.

I'm so excited for this, can't wait!
So many options.

SO MANY OPTIONS!

*explodes in a cloud of confetti and creativity*

I'm going to make a level where the exit is right in front of you, but there's a coin gate that requires a single coin and that coin is that the end of a ridiculously long and tedious gauntlet.

Funny thought just occured to me for another time waster game. You are Sakurai... or Nintendo whoevers doing the DLC. You have total control of the other four DLC packages, We all know what characters we want yet but lets see if you can get 1 stage, and at least five pieces of music paired with your top contenders for DLC. GO!
Easy:

Banjo-Kazooie (Banjo Kazooie) Stage: Spiral Mountain Music: Banjo's theme/Main theme, Banjo's theme/Main theme (Remix), Spiral Mountain, Spiral Mountain (Remix), Gruntilda's Lair, Gruntilda's Lair (Remix), Mumbo's Mountain, Mumbo's Mountain (Remix), Treasure Trove Cove, Clanker's Cavern, Click Clock woods, Final Battle theme (Banjo-Kazooie), Witchyworld, Isle o' hags, Final battle (Banjo-Tooie).

Geno (Super Mario RPG) Stage: Mushroom Kingdom RPG (travelling stage through SMRPG's iconic areas) Music: Beware the Forest's Mushrooms, Beware the Forest's Mushrooms (Remix), Happy adventure, Delightful adventure, Hello, Happy Kingdom, Still the Road is full of Dangers, Fight against a Somewhat Stronger monster, Fight against an Armed Boss, Welcome! Yo'ster Island!!, The Axem Rangers drop in, Fight against Smithy.

Duster (Mother 3) Stage: Tazmily Village Music: F-F-Fire!!, F-F-Fire!! (Remix), Porky's Porkies, Big shot's theme, Monky's Delivery Service, Mind of a Thief, Run my Dog, Run!, Magypsy Party, Etude for Ghosts, Ragtime Osohe, Natural Killer Cyborg, Natural Killer Cyborg (Remix), Piggy guys, Masked Man's theme.

Chorus Kids (Rhythm Heaven) Stage: Lobby (Simple white Background Stage like some minigames appear on, Have no Idea what it would be called) Music: Remix 1, Remix 1 (Remix), The Clappy Trio, The Clappy Trio (Remix), Blue Birds, Rhythm Rally 2, Sick Beats, Final Remix.

Jimmy T (Wario Ware) Stage: Diamond City Music: Body Rock, Body Rock (Remix), Body Rock (Japanese ver.), Tomorrow Hill, Tomorrow Hill (Remix), Tomorrow hill (Japanese ver.), Wario De Mambo.

Since the exit has to be at the end of the level, you could double down and put the exit at the end of a really, really long tunnel.

The tunnel contains nothing but a treadmill pushing against you, and when you reach the end there's a one way gate. You have to enter a second tunnel, which also has a treadmill in it, to get back to the start to enter the gauntet.

Honestly, I'd love to try a level like that.

I'l have to keep track of these ideas. I'll finally be able to make some levels I wasn't able to make in MM1 too.

I can’t believe you guys are conjuring up ideas for Kaizo Mario levels before the game is even out.

This is why none of you guys are game designers.

I had an idea for a vertical level I wanted to make, but I never could because Mario Maker only ever allowed horizontal styled levels. But it's looking like MM2 will have vertical levels, which opens up tons of possibilities for ascending/descending level designs.

Perhaps a wall jump gauntlet, where you have to wall jump past obstacles? I think that'd be awesome.

Also, let's be honest, "intruder from another dimension" is hardly incorrect for Joker considering he freaking stole his invitation.

I've actually tried designing the type of level you'd see in an actual Mario game. It can be kinda difficult, but it's pretty enjoyable.

Super Mario Boy?

If vertical levels are a thing, I would totally recreate the Tower levels from Donkey Kong '94, especially the one that is basically 25m but the floor is made of breakaway blocks so you have to keep moving.

Oh, I know my idea is pure evil. I wouldn't actually put it in a serious game.

(The treadmill is littered with one-way gates, meaning once you enter it you have to run to the end).

Part of the reason I never bought Mario Maker 1 (besides general lack of funds and getting enough enjoyment out of watching others play it) is that most of my ideas at the time relied on there being slopes or variable water levels (things that SMM2 has now included).

Yes, I know, restrictions breed creativity.

I wonder what Luigi's role in this game is.

Is he simply a separate aesthetic character with no differences, a simple Player 2 character for co-op, or does he have his signature Luigi physics? Or perhaps all of these?

Regardless, I'm just glad he's in. He was my most wanted addition for a hypothetical Mario Maker sequel/port.

Well, we got some news finally...but Smash just left more questions than answers.
  • Version 3.0? They just did 2.0! I guess they're counting versions just by releasing characters then, and coming with balance patches. Pity; I'd have liked to see some simple stadium modes or the like return.
  • No Mii costumes? I'd have expected them by now... Then again, we got our first Sm4sh set with Mewtwo in April, which was 5 months after announcement. I guess we'll get wave 1 with Joker.
  • Still no Joker gameplay? I'd have thought that they could have shown something akin to the PP trailer we got. Still not sold on him completely, so I'll hang on to my money until I see more. And because...
  • New amiibo up for preorder at BestBuy! But I'm all kinds of stoked that Squirtle's getting his own. Now to see when those are releasing as well.
  • And no Erdrick? Hmm... I guess I don't have to give up hope completely.

Hey, all I really want is one...

Dovahkiin, with a Skyrim stage based on High Hrothgar. The stage has a day/night cycle, and every so often there'll be an aurora in the night sky. Also Alduin can take Ridley's old role from Pyrosphere every so often. Featuring the tracks Dragonborn (Skyrim Main Theme), Sovngarde, One They Fear, Watch the Skies, and also the main themes of Morrowind (Nerevar Rising) and Oblivion (Reign of the Septims)

Also...

Tails, with a stage based on Chemical Plant Zone (Sonic 2). The water here is hazardous to every character, and there are several helical tracks for platforms above (like the figure 8 on Pictochat). I don't have many more tracks here, but Chemical Plant Zone and Casino Night Zone (both Sonic 2) are musts for this.

That's my opinion, though I'm going to be bold and say that Brave will also be released the same day.

I just can't see something like:

*Brave gets announced in April*
*E3 rolls by*
*Smash has shown this HYPER EXCITING NEWCOMER*
"Oh, btw, Brave's available to download today..."
IF were getting another smash direct of course they need to show more than just Joker
