You can suggest characters when "Jobs" that fit their descriptions open up. Right now we are not in a job period, but when a mod or someone in charge of the thread makes a post detailing a job and you have a character that fits the description, you can submit one character per job to be voted on.So can we suggest characters? Hello! Welcome to the Smash Infinite thread! To learn more about how we run things here and how you can contribute please read this:So can we suggest characters? Because I have a few suggestions
Hello potential developer!Welcome to the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Sequel Project - now known as Super Smash Bros. Infinite! We are very excited to see that you have expressed interest in joining our project. Here are some FAQs regarding our project:
Is this actually going to be a fan game?
Unfortunately, this is just a creative brainstorming project. We are only coming up with ideas on how this game will function, what characters it will have, and how different it will be from its predecessor, Ultimate.
Cool! How do I submit a character/stage/assist trophy/etc.?
This project is run on a job-by-job basis. This means that the thread creator, Venus of the Desert Bloom or the Executive Assistants, (@Smashing Ramen, @Mr. Robotto, and Krookodilian ) will be providing prompts regularly for us developers to answer. These prompts can range from specific (Submit a Halloween Themed character) to vague (Suggest a new first-party franchise for our next character). Once some time has passed after the prompt is given, we will vote on the suggestions, with the winning suggestion(s) making it to the final game. This means that we won't have the opportunity to suggest characters/stages/etc. until the prompt itself is given to us. Furthermore, when we do add characters, keep in mind that we try to keep the newcomers different. For example, after having Jill & Leon as our Game Awards newcomers, we were unable to submit Officer Howard as our next newcomer because they would be too similar (anime cop with a gun that kills otherworldly monsters). This doesn't mean that you would not be able to suggest them again later, it just means we can't have two similar characters back to back. Again, we will have specific times to suggest characters, so please hold onto your ideas for then!
What about Spirits and Music?
As with other parts of the game, we will be submitting spirits on a case-by-case basis, in order to account for the work our Spirit Team does. The two main times we will submit spirits will be after a new character is revealed and when a spirit event is made. Spirit events are week long submissions that are themed around a particular... theme. This can be things like holidays, such as Easter, genres, such as fighting games, to more abstract concepts, like inanimate objects. We do have set rules, about submitting spirits, however. During spirit events, we will only accept 3 submissions per user and each submission is approved based on the discretion of the Spirit Team. Some examples of spirits that will be rejected are real life hardware, such as gaming consoles and accessories, spirits with no official art, and spirits that will increase the age rating. Additionally, when submitting spirits, it is highly encouraged to follow the format listed below to provide the Spirits Team with the information required to add them to the wiki.
In terms of music, we have a document on the main page. Music will be added periodically to prevent the document from filling up too fast. Each universe has a cap number, such as 40, that will be the maximum number of allowed songs. Additionally, this cap will be capped by a second, temporary cap, so you it is presented as 15/40. This means that of the 40 songs that will be added throughout the project's lifespan, only 15 will be accepted at the moment. This cap is raised every so often, and the maximum may be increased by adding a stage/character to the project later on. Like with spirits, we will be accepting music on a case-by-case basis. Songs that have difficulty negotiating for, songs with little to no relation with Nintendo or the characters in the project, or series with too many songs will be removed. Fan remixes are allowed, provided you give credit.
Wait, a wiki?
Yeah, we have a cool wiki. You'll find almost everything related to the project on this site.
That's about all I can think of for the project right now! Please enjoy your stay and we look forward to working with you!
Job 90
Fuzzy
Fuzzy's appearance is similar to the Moon or Nintendog ATs, in that it appears, disappears, and then its effects take place. Once it disappears (which is accompanied by its "fart" noise), the screen is flooded with Fuzzies, the music slows and the stage starts to tilt left and right, alternating in speed while effecting gravity. The screen gains a colourful hue. The fuzzies that fly by obscure some of the screen - albeit in a way that isn't as intrusive as Nintendog or Nightmare. Fuzzies cannot appear on scrolling stages or any stages that already have spinning/sliding elements like Mario Circuit, Lylat Cruise, or Brinstar Depths.
Ukiki debuted on the SNES.Category A: Ukiki
Ukiki is the, to quote the great Brian David Gilbert, "sh*theel of a monkey" that originated in Super Mario 64. In said game he would steal Mario's hat which forces Mario to go chase after him to grab back his hat. In Smash Infinite, he'd play similarly. In SSBI, Ukiki will chase after his Summoner's opponents. If the opponent has no items, he will grab onto an enemy's head. While on their head, he will attack them which will slow the opponent down and deal damage to them. However, the opponent can knock off Ukiki by spamming the special attack button. Ukiki will also steal any items that the opponent might have when they jump off.
Well he does still count for category B so I change it so that he's being submitted for category B.Ukiki debuted on the SNES.
Thank you for submitting! Just to let you know, double or triple posting in a row is discouraged, and may lead to warnings from the moderation, so please in the future either edit your last post to include what you want to post, or wait for someone else to post in a thread before posting again.Category F: Sakura
Sakura is a party member in Fire Emblem Fates. She is a cleric who is apart of the Hoshidan royal family. She is known for her timid and shy nature, although she is a good healer in her own right. She has since appeared in Fire Emblem Heroes and Fire Emblem Warriors. In SSBI, she will heal whoever summoned her and if her healer stands near her, they will take 5% less damage because of her Quiet Strength ability.
We have eight categories. You can submit four assist trophies; one per category. We will hold separate voting for each category. If we get one submission for a categoy, that’s a default win. If a category doesn’t get any submissions, that category gets thrown out. This is to fill up our assist montage during the 50 minute April Smash Direct. Basically, I smushed five jobs into one to save time.Um... can someone explain this to me in simpler terms? Like, we're adding Assists, but there's categories, and...
My head hurts all of a sudden...
Redd Redd is a shopkeeper debuted in Animal Crossing for the GameCube, he is a rival to Tom Nook who have been established to be a former business partner. As shopkeeper he runs a shady shop that sells overpriced and often counterfeit paintings and sculpture usually revealed when you tried to donate them to the museum or selling them. He also sometimes sells you fireworks in his own booth near the Town Hall When summoned he will set up a booth and offered the player who summoned them items that amplify their effect: weapon items deal double the damage, healing items heals more (with the exception of Maxim Tomato and Heart Container) etc. by approaching him or bypass him. If the opposing enemy try to approach he will also give them items too but with a catch that there's a high chance that it will give you item that appear to look normal or similar but downright useless. This is applied to every item in Smash with the exception of item-spawning item, to make it simple all the items is easily breakable with some could only be used once (This probably going to led to the creation of a new item). |
Digi- Boy Terry Getter better known as Digi-Boy is one of the playable pilot in F-Zero GX, he is considered a genius at operating basically any digital devices and even invented some by his own despite being at a young age. The reason for his participation in the F-Zero race is to prove if his machine that he built based on his simulation after analyzing past races is true. As an Assist Trophy all of his ability will be fairly original basing it off of interest in technology. when being summoned he start intensely analyzes the whole match with holographic screen appearing around him which is based on his Ending, the more screen shows up means that he is close to done charging which involve him creating a shockwave around his radius after deploying his drone which follow the summoner and paralyze nearby enemies. |
Helper Monkey Helper Monkeys are a race of helpful primate introduce in Jungle Beat, like the name implied they as a guide for DK and often appeared throughout the level assisting him. When being summoned they appear in a group of six before scattering everywhere throwing bananas. |

Yoshi's four legged friend would be interesting to see in Smash as a fighter due to not having many animal fighters which would be nice to see.
Oh, I understand.Poochy was already submitted.
You didn’t have to submit four, but it was the maximum.Wait were we supposed to submit four assists?
