UCI Melee Monthly Tournaments? Who would go?

So me and a couple friends at UCI were thinking of starting melee monthlies at UCI since theres a slight resurgence for melee.. now before anyone says anything, i made this thread to just get an idea of who/how many would actually attend and whether or not its worth all the effort to organize a good tournament. Im only talking about melee here, ABSOLUTELY NO BRAWL. im not dissing brawl or anything i dont want to turn this thread into a needless debate. Again, melee only monthlies at UCI, whos interested?

yes, these would take the place of connor's tournaments + probably a built in larger turnout since all the schoolie irvine kids would go

You'll definitely get alot of people going to this Derrick. So far on this thread theres already over 11 people that said yes, and half of the people on these boards never post. Plus if one person goes then they'll probably bring friends like i'm doing.

Your thread's been up for a total of 2 days. And yes, people usually bring friends (that don't necessarily post on SWF).

Pretty sure you should wait a few more days before coming to any hasty conclusions.

getting 9-10 people preconfirmed before you even make the tournament official means it's going to be successful. and considering it's taking place on a school, that's built-in attendees right there. and if it actually is legit, then the rest of the community like lucky, tofu, 818 etc. will come.
