1st link - First one is the best bet. Its brand new, official, and a really good price. Looks like the one from play asia except cheaper. I didn't find anything better on ebay.
2nd link - Risky since its used, dont know what your getting. Better to do that at a gamestop.
3rd link - Why the eff is it $60?!
4th link - Its the generic controller. RUN!

I believe the 3rd one is unopened still in original casing and ****.
2nd one i believe is an unopened black one for 12$. I believe the 1st one is the same as playasias. Are they as responsive as the original GC controllers? Any defects? Or problems they run into easily?

I heard the white ones arent as sensitive.
Things ive heard from smashers:
I have a white controller right now and although it feels more sturdy, I feel like I have to exert way more physically to avoid messing up.

After using a platinum controller for ~4 years, it was literally falling apart so I started using a brand new white controller in November. Its control stick was too stiff when I first started using it, so I had my friend (G&W player) use it which loosened it up PERFECTLY, it had perfect sensitivity/resistance. After I used it reliably for ~3 months, all of the sudden the sensitivity got REALLY ****ty.Thinking about it, white controllers do seem to have much worse sensitivity, IMO they feel loose around the "edges" but too hard to move on the "inner" positions, if that makes sense.

I now know why I could not fastfall at MLG Dallas. I was using a brand new white controller (well, about 2 months old actually, if that), and it would not fast fall at all during my match with Trela.
I never had fastfall problems with my old silver controller, but the reason I replaced it was because it was a thumb-slicer and had issues when I pressed up.
Man that sucked.
So ya...is the white one bad?

Just buy the cheapest one and get it over with. They're all new official nintendo gamecube controllers as far as I can tell. Any color controller is going to crap out on you after a certain amount of abuse.

My controllers are the best. Ive literally thrown them and bashed them and they work perfectly fine. Ask actionb, he used mine at ZP this weekend XD

I controller john when using radiX's, his def is bad.
If you can't play Melee with it it's not a good controller. Or if you don't play technical in brawl you might be fine with white ones but I've never played with a white controller that gives me as much control as a good Black/Silver one.

No thats why i asked kyon to use his in the pool we were in together. Mine is sooooo bad right now. Its getting to the point i can almost not run or dash or pivot at allllll. And jumps arent as responsive.

I think white ones are fine. In fact one of my favorite controllers to use MELEE FOX with is a white one.
