if there's a merced tournament over winter break, i'd be so down to go it isn't even funny
our finals week is a week before then...my last one's on the 11th

Unfortunately I do not believe a tournament over winter break would be possible. Housing is closed, which means that the venues (den, cali room) are both closed. Plus all the good players (IE not me) are probably out of town.
Unless Bizz pulls a miracle. BTW would there be a venue fee next time? I heard that with the cali room is a one time freebie.

We're probably not going to have a tournament until January, but we can host a large smashfest around November-December if anyone's interested in the same room.
I'm thinking that our next tournament should have a venue fee of $2. This way, we can buy more equipments such as TVs and gamecubes for a bigger turn-out.
