I can give you the last spot...there's gonna be 5 people + 4 TVs in the car though so you may have to keep stuff on your lap. I can also pick you up from the bus station before the tournament starts _IF_ you're there before say, 11:45. I'm in charge of the room where ToS2 will be held, so after noon I can't leave to pick anyone up. If you can't be there before then, someone else will have to get you from the bus station.

Housing at my place is full unless you can provide your own ride to/from my house (my car's full). Other people who have offered are GPWN, tect, Shuriken, and Locke) (but for him only Friday night). You'll have to get ahold of one of them if you want housing.

As for getting to Ottawa from Montreal, you'll have to look into either Greyhound or VIA Rail (train). Chet probably knows how much it is by Greyhound. Also, the earlier you buy your tickets the cheaper they'll be, so if you want to come, get tickets early to save yourself some money

If have a school ID, student fare bus ID or something similar, round trip Mtl-Ottawa is 44$.
If you don't have something that says you are a student, it's around 58$ if you buy it the day before, and around 70 if you buy it on the same day iirc. That's VIA greyhound. The bus ride is around 2h15 minutes, give or take 30 minutes depending on the number of stops and the traffic. Do not take the noon bus, it's the longest ride.

If GPWN is offering housing, I would rather stay with him. My reason is because I honestly don't want to take the bus back alone, and I believe it's HH that's staying over there? They have a car =/. Also Gpwn's is such a short walk from the venue so carrying all that **** wouldn't be a problem. I also wouldn't mind paying 5 bucks to split a taxi to get to the bus station.

- Lanowen, pkmvodka, and H4 are the only ones staying at my place at the moment. If ThatGuy isn't going with me, then I only have 1 more spot for people who need lifts to bus/train stations. IF you are driving down and can get to/from my house on your own then I might be able to help you out.
- chet, Damax + whoever's in his car are going to GPWN's.
- Anyone else either doesn't have housing, or hasn't posted if they do.

ThatGuy: If you want to stay with GPWN instead of me, make sure you ask him first.

Jarc: I'm sorry if there was a misunderstanding, but I never said I was housing you anywhere. From your original post it looks like you wanted housing for 3 or 4 people (your crew?), and I don't have room in my car for that many people.

Most tourneys nowadays use MLG rules, so pretty much any tourney thread will have them posted. Check the MLG NY thread to be totally sure. It looks like jv3x3 has some new things in there that weren't at previous MLGs, I'll have to review them and check the differences.

TO FOGEL: I was just wondering if it was stage only, caracter only or double counter pick. IMO double counter pick sucks, The stage counter pick doesn't help much the looser and actually can make the next match to be advantageous for the one who won.

If you read my previous post you would have seen that I said "nvm" (a popular internet abbreviation for nevermind) because he didn't know what a "mm" was. So I assumed he might just be starting since he was not familiar with some of the terms we use here. However, I first asked for a money match because he just might be good and he might not just post very often, just like a few people you know now that are decent smashers but never posted very often when they were new. For example, gpwn. Everybody assumed he was a noob because he just spammed and trashtalked (like he still does today), however when people played him at the first Ottawa smashfest everyone thought differently, cus like he name states, his ganon pwned.

And that right there is my post of the day. Back to calculus assignment/chem lab/chem question/engineering mechanics midterm studying.

I myself would question MLG rules at the moment because they change a bit every MLG.

Anyways, I challenge almost everybody to a mm, especially all the new people. I usually have liek 10-15 mm set up before a tournament/smashfest. How many of those do I actually do? One, maybe two. I usually play the person before asking them for the money match. If I feel it would be unfair then I don't challenge them to the money match unless they ask me. Go back to watching your anime chet

Tect initially said he could, but then I think his parents wouldn't let him. Shuriken said he could be "emergency" housing since whoever stayed with him would have to walk back to his place (no car I assume). Capt. Explosive (Karl) I don't know about. I know most of them read this thread, so they'll probably post later with the details.

In Ottawa you don't get stabbed in the street, you get stabbed if you take the bus and don't give people smokes
