Ah yes. I've been trying to post more often, but the AZ thread is kinda slow.
This seems like a more upbeat place, so that's good.
So anyway. After watching Pound4 (like a *****) I'm fixing on becoming the best. Anyone want to join me on my crusade? It pays very little, until you actually win. Even then, don't quit your job.

We should DEFINITELY have a tournament on the 30th!! It would be an awesome idea and tons of fun, especially if SV, TAI, and AXE are coming!

Omar has to work, so he can't get the day off, sadly. I asked him and everything. Looks like I'll need a means of transportation if I am to go. I'll help pay for gas? (This should be a given, but just in case it isn't)

So, does anyone want to play on Thursday? I'm free from 11 AM on.
If enough people are there on Saturday between 12 and 2, I'll host a tournament in the TV lounge (hope they don't get mad at us!). There's 4 TV's there, Chris, I would hope you would bring a TV, and if one or two more people bring TV's, that's a guaranteed like 4 TV's, maybe 6 if no one's there! We can do winners finals, losers finals, and grand finals on the big TV in the arcade; just no one say that we're playing for money and they won't get mad at us. If there are less than 16 people, it'll be either a round robin or a "top 2 people get a couple bucks from the bottom 2 people tournament" or something. If you guys all suck and decide that you have better things to do than smash, then Jeff and I will chill for 12 hours and my OkamiBWFriendlies channel will have over 9,000 falco dittos. We'll make a falco ditto combo video from one day.*
Jane (who's not a girl), isshinguru (whom I just played with), Jared (who's asleep in his bed right now), and dairspike (who I don't know?); this is a good time for you guys to come to a smashfest/tournament! Lots of people should be there and moreso, lots of good practice is to be had! I encourage you all to go!

Luckily I'm not "from AZ"! Because I have to get on a plane to go to my sister's marriage on the 15th of May and then I have to go back home to Southern California. Only way I'll pull off making it there would be spending a bit of money to fly an hour and a half or drive 10 hours to get there... :/

I was thinking of using at least 2 of the TV's in the lounge and then having someone bring 2. Tommy usually comes with his small white one and when he usually has Brawl setup he can have Melee instead since the tourney will obv. be all Melee.
Plus Chris always has his TV in his car so just Tommy and Chris alone + 2 in the lounge is 4 which is enough really. We should hit 16 people exactly I'd say give or take 1-2 people. I think after the tournament though we should still do friendlies and just regular smashfest though. Just a gigantic smash day you know? Start at....12 sounds good as Rob suggested. Someone should inform people like Rusty and Shiv who don't read the boards much as well. Make this bigger haha. Also Ty Coop plans on coming Saturday and he will probably bring Enrique so hopefully that's another +2.
