I'm not getting entirely why people think Shen is scum outside of what Gheb said.

Sure.If you can, attempt a full read list.
We just wanna see you bring something to the table and see where your head is at.
Three reveals. One innocent child. One nightkill. One modkill. How does that not make sense?@Koops: Do the green names in your votelist mean anything? Also what do you mean three reveals
I thought at the time BTL (or was it JTB? I don't remember) was more scummy and wasn't reading more, because as I've said from the getgo, I've kept my view on Soup. I also wanted to see where it would go in terms of reactions and interactions. (No, it wasn't some reaction test) - I believe it to have worked well too despite the modkill. The wagons on both are interesting, and even you noticed that.Explain your point of view because I definitely did not like that move.
Ruy can take the opportunity to do so as well.
[I'm asking you or Rake to respond to me: I've accused you of hiding behind Antoine, mainly during the soup push; it's really not that hard to understand sheesh...]Does this mean I didn't understand your question, or does it mean you specifically want to talk to Rake. I'm trying to meet you halfway as much as I can through the poems but I can only understand so much
KoopsAlso ryu, who else is alongside you in that hybrid?
Oh right, the cream team clear. Yeah that would deffo count as a reveal I guess, just wasn't thinking the right verbage thereThree reveals. One innocent child. One nightkill. One modkill. How does that not make sense?
Ok well I'm not really sure what there is to respond to besides I don't think that's a fair assessment of our play. The antione slot may have been the one that got Soup to jump the furthest at the time, but early game D1 between us and Soup never stopped being a thing, nor does the fact someone else pushed diminish what we saw lacking in his logic pushing back.[I'm asking you or Rake to respond to me: I've accused you of hiding behind Antoine, mainly during the soup push; it's really not that hard to understand sheesh...]
I nominate this to be the question of the game. Also ryu, who else is alongside you in that hybrid?
wait gheb didn't replace? Maybe I just get Gheb and Pawn confused.Sure.
In the meantime, I'm gonna assume Gheb is town. I can't understand half of what he's saying anyways.
Play is Shenani, a hydra consisting of Rake and Dietz. Is that convincing enough?who is play
Even if they end up as scum.Play is Shenani, a hydra consisting of Rake and Dietz. Is that convincing enough?
jtb is the best play followed by shen followed by youwho is play
[Ikr!]Actually I wish Gheb wrote more rhetorically and metaphorically, it'd make for some really cool verses n whatnot. He's more straightforward this game than any other game he's probably EVER played.
[I'll bust out some sickass poems regarding this tomorrow]Ok well I'm not really sure what there is to respond to besides I don't think that's a fair assessment of our play. The antione slot may have been the one that got Soup to jump the furthest at the time, but early game D1 between us and Soup never stopped being a thing, nor does the fact someone else pushed diminish what we saw lacking in his logic pushing back.
I reread your interaction with Soup from D1 (literally skimmed until I saw your posts). Despite what you claim here:I haven't decided who i like more between Red and Soup, soup's assertion seems sound but i feel him calling red lazy is just stating the obvious like a condemnation when in fact there really isn't a reason it should be from my perspective ATM
it doesn't really add up with the post above. You were trying to evaluate Soup but that's not the issue I have. That post just keeps sticking out at me. Your vote stayed there the entire time, but your actions and particularly your words don't really add up. You didn't bother so much with him and you didn't really rally the pressure around him or continue to investigate that wagon. There's a significant difference between what I would expect both heads of this hydra to do (constantly scream to lynch him and say he's scum) and what you guys actually did (put a vote down, asked a few people about it, but otherwise left it alone). I was actually shocked when I was rereading earlier to find that your vote didn't come after Ruy's. I swore it had. That kinda tipped me off to everything else: you had had it there beforehand but at not one point did I really see you pressuring that slot. In short, you were holding him at arm's length and I don't particularly care for that.@Washed: Honestly D1 soup never gave us a good reason to move our vote. He didn't start acting even remotely collected until D2. We saw the BSP wagon take off and thought that was fine but also saw no reason to stop looking at Soup vs Ryu, so we just plain didn't. If you have something to say about it, just come out and say it, but I personally like what we did, or at least the direction we had before the day just stopped
No. You don't get to do this. I get you're replacing in but it's not a long game in the slightest and I want more from you. C'mon Nabe, put at least a little bit of effort in.who is play
so since you don't condone vinyl or jtb, which lynches do you condone mr. clear?Like really, I get why Vinyl's play is just bad the same as anyone with a comprehension of the game sees it as just bad. Hell, even anyone who has some sort of comprehension of the english language. But JTB is on the same boat. His play is bad. Yes. But it's not scummy. His move to the Soup wagon WASN'T scummy. When you read it, it just doesn't seem like he's ****in playing. He's kinda just here and proxying his vote onto people who are good, and like aren't you one that condones that? His move off the Soup wagon and onto whoever the hell that was was just the same thing. When I started playing mafia that was what I did, cuz like shiz why not? The majority felt that way so why not feel that way too? In essence JTB isn't new, but according to your definition of new neither was BSP. JTB's bad. That's about it. Fight me on it if you think I'm wrong cuz as long as I'm town reading him I'm not gonna let his lynch go through.
Hey I'm going to point this post out to myself. I'm sure I'll be coming back to this.Me and Koops been talking a lot where we want our vote to go, I don't want Soup today since I'm really not sure on him anymore and I've got a town read to null on everyone else active.
Honestly, Vote: JTB
I'm interested more in what people say about Shen but really I don't think he is scum, though Laundry and Gheb's posts on it with the votes is kinda solid, but I really don't see scum Shen here.
Remember, I wanna see scummy, not bad. I know you know the difference, and I know you know I know the difference. So please. I'd love to be enlightened.i really have to fight the clear over this. ****s sake. gimme a second
Oh man before Luigi's I hadn't played a mafia game in like a year and a half.in the meantime
when was the last time you played with jtb gorf? youre cutting him too much slack. vinyl and soup arent plays this dayphase either so lets narrow this down
I agree that he's not dumb, but the point I've ALWAYS seen about him is just that he's just inherently lazy and too lazy to form coherent enough thoughts. When he's on it, I've seen him on it. Trust me I've seen it. But when he wasn't he just wasn't. The difference in motivation is REALLY black and white with his play and here, I'm sure you agree, his play lacks any sort of motivation. And yes I've seen a very similar lack in motivation like this in his town play too.ok. well ive played with jtb a few times and im not a grandmaster of his meta or any **** like that but he WILL coast and wagonhop as scum. he did that **** for like 5 dayphases in os allstars. when hes town jtb IS NOT DUMB. hes just in the background but actually makes good points and shows himself as an independent thinker the few times he does weigh in the game
You're gonna hate me for saying this (but not really cuz it's in a different context) but from an unmotivated perspective that's just the easy thing to do. See a wagon, see something, vote. And yea I'm saying this because JTB just won't read any of this I'm sure. Hell, JTB, if you're reading this go ahead and quote this. I doubt he will cuz he just. doesn't. seem. to. care. There's nothing that I can do about it, and if I didn't have better avenues I'd sure as hell go with the wagon. But I just don't see it.marshy said:he hopped on the soup wagon calling him scum for a reason that had nothing thatd make soup likelier to be scum...if you wanna tell me how that isnt scummy feel free. you like laundry i assume from your last post. well guess that was an (at the time) easy wagon to hop sooo
You know who else has been playing for years? Ruy.marshy said:youre saying youd throw your vote around like that when you started playing. those last 4 words are important. jtbs been playing for years im pretty sure or at least has enough to not just give him a dumb pass so to say
It's not white knighting em. I'm standing up against a lynch that WILL go through regardless of JTB's alignment because JTB is JTB. I know how he plays. Gheb knows how he plays and has said that that's the reason why the wagon is dumb, just poetically. Hell, I think even laundry has said so too. So it's not just me bruh. I just happen to be definitely town doing it.marshy said:if you wanna discuss other plays and narrowing the lynchpool then cool. but seeing you whiteknight and literally do all the work WHEN YOU ADMITTEDLY DONT KNOW **** ABOUT THIS DUDE
Well I DEFINITELY feel good about shenan and ruy being scum. Idgaf about teams or any of that jazz, they're solid plays. Vinyl and Nabe are solely off the inactivity and their being null at this point in the game isn't cool for me, so I'd just need more play from their slots to really get em off my lynchlist. Soup's play has been fluctuating through really bad and aight throughout the game, so I'd prefer to wait to read him with more confidence. If a lynch wagon goes on em I'll hop on it though. Kantrip's play has generally been weird for me, and he's on the same boat as soup with my preference to lynch him. So I'd say my LYNCH POOL consists of the first four, but I'd be willing to lynch the six. The last two are out of the scope of possibility at this point, and I think it's for good reason, but that's where I'm at.marshy said:you have 6 people on your lynchlist. thats more than half the game. what do you want or need to narrow it down?
