This is incredibly telling to me.
I'm flattered I guess but I wouldn't put my reads on a huge pedestal just because I knew and read Ryu right in the distant past, frankly I've never seen what I'm seeing here before, so I wouldn't snap to any decision until he gets back to me in full

you read him right in kvk where i read him wrong and have mentioned that you can see through his poker face consistently. i doubt that'd change within a few months' time.

Ryu talk to me about this, what do you mean when you say trolling here. I thought when you came in you were pushing Soup because he jumped, right? And where is this attitude against Cream Team coming from, you can disagree with them without laying it on this thick, I don't get why you were so upset, and I don't like how you blew off Kantrip when he asked for reasoning:

Soup had a reaction worth pushing but I don't see why you wouldn't give the reasoning when asked if you want it to develop, you can have vague reasons but they have to be reasons. Why not say them when asked?
I trolled him to get a reaction out of him. He jumped after I pushed him a bit and made a auto scum read on me solely off that, looked really bad when he panic'd there.

I don't like how Cream Team handled a gut read of mine, but he's town so he's clearly doing it because of how I handled that read and I layed out why I stopped taking them seriously later. I really just want to get them to be more productive at this point, since the back and forth is doing us no good anymore. I don't care to really make a case when I state the obvious.

And I don't make cases anymore anyways, it's not worth the trouble unless I really think it is necessary for people to see something. I wanted votes on Soup but I didn't care to make a case on something almost everyone saw and commented on.

This is Dietz, tell me why you're reading us the way you are. If anyone is going to understand what you mean on Rake gut reads it's going to be me, but you have to at least try to explain it. Hand waving this **** is not going to fly.

Unvote

Unsure which direction we need to go from here, but it probably isn't Soup for at least toDay. Would be willing to go to JTB when everything is said and done
Since when did I hand-wave it?

Rake's been posting a lot more prodding around and his interaction with Soup and following votes look like he believes what he is saying rather than just saying it. I really do think he believes what he is posting, which is a general feel I get even more with Day 2 when he voted Soup and looked around at player interactions. It's a sense of worth and belief in what he is saying that makes me trust him. That is something townRake does.

no really why do we let him play mafia

this isn't even a question of his personal interest anymore, we know the result of his play every single time
I'm doing quite well, thank you.
Keep up the good work. :D

I'll be catching up once again, and maybe then, I'll put up something.
I won't promise you that it's a full reads list, but at least it'll be something of what I think is thoughtful.
Soup knows what's up, so it's best to ask him about it.

yoloswag should be more focused on why and crap than just spewing out "this is complete bull****" posts. I'm mostly seeing that here.

@Cream Team

The dragon is used a pawn, for the evil to feed on
He is being pushed in the spotlight but look at whom is pulling the strings!
The red one is naive, the soupy fed up with grief
But the wanna-be genius manipulates and nudges from the save side of things!

Mysterious remains the soup, is he honest or is it a coup?
He sure makes it look like it's the former but it could just as easily be the latter
A friend of extremes way, from his path he never sways
As much as he could devour all evil souls, he could cause the good ones to shatter!

Damn man that's the thing I hate about relying on meta for things cuz like scum can just play how they play town n shiz but like NAH that's their meta. Like really?! Ive played games where I don't look at my role PM Day 1 cuz I can set up legitimate reads on players from a towns perspective and then read my role PM and see what I rolled. If I'm scum woohoo set up a nice back bone. If I'm town woohoo NO HARM NO FOUL! And then there's the walrus.
If you were in one of my games, you wouldn't be able to get away with not seeing your role PM. :D

Feels good to be in a game again :)

Vote vinyl
If I start going inactive, I'll just replace out so I don't hold up the game.
That's what my role pm says!
dont really see how bringing up wifom on why circus was killed after complaining about the lack of direction in this game is gonna help

Vote Soup
throwing out a post since i wont be around until tonight or tomorrow

my vote on soup wasn't based solely on the circus comment, i was already wary of his play and his last post was what pushed me over. i jumped the gun on it though, i should've waited until i could be around to explain it more and defend it.

im down to support the pawn wagon right now though, regardless of soup being on it. it's a good direction to take and since i cant push the soup wagon atm, ill still contribute to something while im gone

Vote: Pawn

@underlined from this, you seem to know what the right reasons for jumping on soup are, but you are not voting him. what are those reasons and why haven't you thrown down a vote?
literally all of jtb posts are here.

the first two are mostly irrelevant. one's a fluffy response to some stupid questions shen asked him at the start of the game while the other is an rvs vote that really would only be telling if he's scum.

his other two posts are more telling. "let's jump at soup!" "no, wait, i'm getting my **** called out, let's go back at the inactive du jour!" even if his call-out to my slot was reasonable, i still don't like the way he slides off of soup. he goes on with a weak reason (soup's apparent wifom about circus' shot), but then gets off by saying that he jumped the gun after he got called out for letting that be his only stated reason. it's easy to throw in the rest.

now let's look at the soup wagon

This was the hand wave I was worried about

I really could care less.

Rake is not a player you can get me to define how I read him in words easily. He is one of he few people I let gut have a significant part of my reads. I've done this every game we are together and that will always be the case. I can never truly in words describe it.

You can go at me about this, but it's going to get you nowhere.

This is how I read Rake.
I figure if you had a read you could at least say what you just said, and that bothered me

He can live, idk what to make of Pawn replacing out when under pressure, he was viewing the thread and then replaced privately.

Yeah his JTB post is really really scummy to me.

But Washed made larger improvement that I'd be willing to let him live.

Also he fixed the inactive issue a bit and Nabe might help with another. I want JTB and vinyl to post a bit more ATM so they can be accountable later.

Goddamn. I don't think I've played with that guy before. This is definitely a good time to stick in this thread a lot more often.
I think I speak for everyone when I say we wish you thought all the time was a good time

@RR: I'm inclined to agree there, I don't see any reason we shouldn't let him continue today. Talk to me about Joey though, did what he posted ring true to you before he left?

Why did you make that shot at Soup in your entrance and then back off.
1. I told Marshy if he explained BSP, he would get my vote. This is how I rad marshy, he needs to do it with actions and be able to have a central thought process, if he does this and is kind if explainable, he is gonna be town. When he is scum, it's not explainable. Plus it would give me info on BSP.

2. Expand off more, D2 I went back on Soup to look at thus angle again. I was gonna fully let up, in MR catch-up before the modkill I asked and pointed out issues I had with his played. But I didn't wanna tunnel him. D2 I went back to evaluate it again then kinda went off again when I looked at who was on what.

Pawn/JTB/Joey.

Vs

Kantrip/Yolo/Cream

Really that didn't seem right to me there, Soup later has calmed a bit and not really making super conclusion.

What I don't again is his fishing to lynch my slot then 180 when he reading more from you. It's really odd.

Readlist, nullish kinda dislike, he gave me as town and then really a lot of idk with everything else and no clear stance. I wanted to prod him more on this.

Replace out reads townie to me, like he cares for people to win and he knows he will be too inactive to help out.

Aight,

You agree with me and Laundry when we say that Soup has shaped up some since he first came in? At least enough to say he probably shouldn't be the lynch today (I think you said you did, but like I actually read the thread or anything)

I reread yolo's posts. Those asterisks makes me think he keeps denying stuff repeatedly.
I mean look, I know it's yoloswag, but the cussing needs to be toned down. The repetitive aggression isn't gonna sit right with me.

This minor trash talk you make is a complete waste of your time and mines. Maybe if you would actually post something more worthwhile for me, this would make things easier for you, and everyone can have what they wanted. Stop that nonsense, if you please.

Soup who is scum?
I'm not answering such a stupid question that just requires you to read.
Lazy, you tell me :D
No. Why are you being lazy? Don't come in here if you don't have anything productive to say.
Oh Soup is scum.

Vote: Soup
This exchange is one of the most interesting parts about this entire wagon, honestly speaking. I mean, here's the reactions to it by both of them:

[collapse=soup]
Oh no Ryu is scum and he doesn't want to take literally 5 minutes to read my posts and makes an assumption that I don't play to his needs he's going to lynch me. I'm shaking in my boots.
Kantplay do you agree with me that Ryu is being intentionally lazy and throwing a knee-jerk vote on me because I won't play to his standards because he wouldn't know how to fake towniness if it hit him right in the face and his vote makes no sense at all?
I choose not to answer. Do you agree that no one's gonna sheep his vote if they are breathing and don't accidentally hit the keyboard as they flail falling to the ground gasping for air?
(quoted for clarity)
Not threatened, I just think he's intentionally being like this. His vote is so gross and came out of nowhere, and like I said, it was a knee-jerk reaction. He wants to pretend he has a beat on me but he hasn't even bothered to elaborate on it yet. Hell, Ryu is not usually this uncooperative. I have no problem reading Ruy when he's town because he usually is on top of things, but here, he asked me such a stupid question that could have been answered had he read. Can Ruy be lazy as town? Yes. I wasn't ready to call him scum by that and what really made me certain is the vote. Does that answer your questions for you?
Yeah that works thanks.

I have to disagree with you about everything except that he is being intentionally lazy though. I don't think he had any reason to knee-jerk vote you for something as simple as you saying no to answering a question. The fact that it was something he could have so easily gotten for himself, coupled with the fact that he voted you after you held your ground, says to me that his vote is supposed to be some form of pressure vote on you to see if you'll answer his question.

aka I think he's just trying to read you man
And what kind of 'pressure' does he expect when there's nothing to pressure me about? He voted me. It doesn't really mean **** to me in perspective but the way it was done bothers me. I don't see how you think that's a pressure vote and not just a fabricated one. Maybe I'm the jumping the gun with this but I really don't want to think about it right now.
Being an overeager beaver like you said I was. I'm aware that I'm being like this but I think I problem I had in my last Towngame (FE:A) was that I wasn't being eager enough. I'm not holding back and taking a backseat and I think this will help me because it's not like I'm convicted to a read the very moment I say it. Ruy can still turn himself around, but right now, I don't like him. Do you have a problem with this? Why should I wait to cast judgment if I feel there is already enough to do so?
Within a short number of posts, Soup went from flipping out to scumreading Ruy despite Kantrip subtly explaining to him exactly what Ruy was doing (go back and see the actual posts, Ruy even liked them). He jumps at this crap so easily, like a gunshot spooked him earlier today and now he's all jittery. It's definitely a weird reaction that warranted more pressure.[/collapse]

I'm a man of my word and I like it, I'll give pregame a read later, I really don't want to when I an at work ATM and don't really care to try and do that when I got other things I'm doing.

Soup u scum bro?

Kantrip, do I like you? Cause I think I might, also vinyl part about the backlash, that isn't like him. I 110% want him policy lynched if he plays inactive uncooperative lurker like he did in Wallmart.
Null. I'm not particularly fond of him satiating marshy but I understand why he did it and I can't read much more because BSP modkilling himself makes D1 feel so incredibly incomplete.[/collapse]

So without the guy who baited the reaction that warranted the wagon in the first place, the votes started piling on.

[collapse=soup wagon formation]
Note: Shenanigenius and BSP were already on this wagon prior to Ruy's interaction with him. The former never moved his vote, the latter went and OMGUS'd marshy instead.
Well I guess I don't have a choice in that matter.

I'mma just sit my vote on you so we don't forget in the meantime. Hope you don't mind.

Vote: soup
*responding to soup ragequitting the thread

Soup's getting way to hot and bothered about some stupid random vote.

Soup trying to explain his awkwardness.

Soup failing to back up his explanation. How much work would it have been to explain what he was trying to get before leaving? If he had time to type that he could've said.

Vote: Soup
Hrm.

Vote: Soup

Soup, what non-meta reasons do you have to dislike either Shen or Ryu's slot?
I haven't decided who i like more between Red and Soup, soup's assertion seems sound but i feel him calling red lazy is just stating the obvious like a condemnation when in fact there really isn't a reason it should be from my perspective ATM
can i mention his vote never moved again[/collapse]

I'll refrain from commenting on my own slot's entry, but I think the worst votes beyond that are Joey's and actually Shen's. Potato makes a good vote--he asks a pointed question to soup in hopes of getting a response but I don't think he ever does before BSP ragequits. I'm concerned how his vote disapparated the next day--was Soup ******** about how people misread him enough to satisfy his question as to why Soup lacks results--but I don't mind the initial vote. Joey's is just an easy vote to make but honestly I've seen so little of Joey that I don't think I could make an accurate read here. Nabe's entry should help me read so much of it. Meanwhile, Shen's vote just sat here and yet he was still questioning who he liked more between them. Why? Did he just forget? Could he not find someone? Or was he actually scum? The first two seem just too likely but I really doubt Rake/Dietz would forget their vote was placed on soup when votecounts were being posted enough.

I'm stubborn. It would be really easy for me to say that lynching in Kantplay/Pawn/Ruy/BSP could win us the game, but there are still things I'm not positive on. I really didn't like Kantplay being lazy, but I have to give him a break. I do like the interaction we had yesterday. I think Shen has shaped himself up better too and I don't really have problems with him, even if I never really bothered to read into it. I'm totally digging the BSP wagon right now and I would also offer Pawn being up for it too. I'm heavily bothered about worried about Jerkus.
why did you unvote here though you came back to scumruy less than a day later

@Washed: Honestly D1 soup never gave us a good reason to move our vote. He didn't start acting even remotely collected until D2. We saw the BSP wagon take off and thought that was fine but also saw no reason to stop looking at Soup vs Ryu, so we just plain didn't. If you have something to say about it, just come out and say it, but I personally like what we did, or at least the direction we had before the day just stopped

Because I knew I was getting that lynch to go through. There's no point to me shouting about lynching Ruy if I know it's not gonna happen. I honestly don't know where I want to put my vote yet. JTB seems like a fine placeholder but..

You ever get the feeling you're missing the big picture of things? Like you're not looking at something you should? That's how I feel right now. I'm not ready to just re-vote JTB because I feel like I'm still missing a couple of things. I honestly need to re-read.
