Now I'm official.

I'm around page 7 or so, these are hella early reads:

I like Circus and Kantrip both in particular. Circus is playing like he did in Luigi's, where he was ultimately town, and moreso of what I expect. I was a little disillusioned with his "I want to play peacemaker" posts early, but I can't deny what he's saying and what he's trying to do. The BSP wagon that early is dumb (I definitely don't agree with it) and I think that at the time, finding Soup v Shen TvT was a good conclusion. Soup's goals looked pretty townie early with trying to move the game out of RVS quickly while Rake was applying to his typical meta (aka null).

As for Kantrip, he's reading people and doing all of the things you expect of him as town. I want to slap an asterisk next to my statement of liking him though because normally whenever I do like him, he flips scum, such as in EnA mafia or even early GS3 before he got lynched off a quick mistake. He knows how to play the game looking like a townie and so while it looks like he's making all the right decisions, I'm still going to be cautious with that slot. That said, he got votes early from both Gheb and I think Soup and still seems to be here so the pressure didn't get to him. Then again, I expect a slot that was getting heat and another that's speaking rarely and in just poetry aren't going to get a lot done on this effort. Will be watching this as I read.

In short, I like him, but I am wary because I know he knows how to look townie as scum. His actions and his reads make sense however.

Soup is jumpy this game. I like how he started but I don't like how he just jumped when Ruy threw a vote at him. If he's scum, he's not the same soup from Luigi's Mansion.

YOLOSWAG is a mixed bag. I'll be looking at that slot's reads thus far but don't expect me to have a concise read by the end of my readthrough. Marshy, let's not turn this into a dickfight like we did in Luigi's Mansion, aight? That was mostly my other head but I don't wanna lose this game for town because of clashing egos and disagreeing philosophies and whatever.

Gheb's null (poetry schtick is pretty rad though, I've missed your lyrics), so is Shen.

I'll be updating these as I go along. No really decisive scumreads yet as I think Shen v Soup was TvT early, I'm not going to pin down a kevin/marshy slot that early, Gheb's posting poetry and I haven't seen enough of his actions to warrant a completed read (though, again, I actually liked Kantrip vote early), Circus and Kantrip are currently town.

Oh, and Gorf's confirmed. That's where I'm at. Seeing the two flips and what lead up to them will give me my scumreads.

You say you're trying to be more proactive, but what have you done with your activity? Pressured Shen, a slot that was doing a fine job making its presence known as it was, expressed dislike of Vinyl. based on his joking style "rubbing you the wrong way" (hint: he always does this and it always rubs people the wrong way; that's lazy scumhunting), and now freaking out over one vote from RA. This is not productive.

Instead of just asking you a straight-up question because this post is ages old, I do want to note that I did expect a vote to either come here or soon after. This is the closest thing Circus has had to sounding like he's scumreading someone and yet I don't see a vote going anywhere. It's not like these are invalid reasons to vote someone.

That's against the point I wanted to make this post however, and that you're also misreading what I'm doing. I have a lack of direction? No. I see people getting on my case because I'm 'all-over' or 'weird' or however you put it, but I haven't seen anyone besides maybe Kantplay yesterday really contest me. That bothers me. I'm not perfect and I can be wrong, but the whole point of this approach is to get people at me and to start formulating reads easier instead of having to figure it out on my own. There's another point I want to make here. What Ruy did was legitimately bad. Kantplay doesn't even deny it. What Ruy is doing now kind of sets off alarms to be honest but that requires me to actually sit down and look at it and dissect it. I'm going off instinct right now and if you weren't clear enough I'm throwing mud at people and trying to make it stick. I guess the actual question I have from this is how it's scummy. I don't know, I look at the arguments made against me and they're just preposterous. How am I scum for my actions right now?

I have more I want to post. The way this thread is going makes me want to puke. I genuinely felt like pulling a Zen and self-voting but I have more dignity than that.

No, see, you don't get the right to claim this. The ball is entirely in your court. If you're town, you've played like ****, launching yourself at random things in an attempt to make things stick. You lashed out at Rake and kept trying to drag him into the spotlight when everyone else was clearly moving on and not seeing what you were seeing. Now you're trying to make your ****ty OMGUS vote on Ruy stick when he made you flinch earlier when it was clearly obvious he hadn't read a damn thing on you.
