Okay, well, that makes ESAM, the Professional Professor and Ally still in winners, at least. And I swear to god I know that M2K is hax in this game but I was still sure ESAM + PPMD were going to take dubs. Good stuff to Roro for taking on the top 2 PM players and coming out on top though. Hope Chibo uploads that to YTube at some point :p

So many good matches lined up already ...

Who is this Raptor and how did K9 lose to him?

Oracle and Ally may have a chance to go up against each other if they beat Lazy and Strong Bad. Apex top 8 fighting it out already.

And poor Seagull, if he wins he has to go fight Mew2King. Weeeeeelp.

Edit: Also, Chillin v/s Zhime already.

He wasn't a no-name. That was Lambchop from FL, disguised as Porkchop.
mmhhhmmm

Probably would've went under the tag whiteboywasted then. Whatever, not many (I'd say even most) Melee > PM players transfer well, so even if it was Lambchops its damn impressive that he beat k9, and not many people who transfer from Melee > PM can do that in their first big tournament.

What's your reasoning behind this?
DLA presented himself as an up and coming player of diddy to the community and to this thread, boasting of a win over Kels and other better players in his region. I hadn't seen any replays, and I'm not trying to present an elitist point of view. However, after seeing him and Kels at UFGTX, DLAs performance and understanding of the character don't support him being top 3 with June, Boss, Hashtag, seagull Joe, and I still playing strongly.

So there are only 11 characters of all PM not represented by there top 3 of this thread at SKTAR... Some legit MU's gonna be had there. (Just missing CF, Ganon, Ice.C, Jigglypuff, DDD, Marth, Sonic, Squirtle, Toon Link, Yoshi, and ZSS)

No one plays IC. It's going to take a long time for anyone to get good with them and hardly anyone even cares for'em.

so much sleeping on abstract logic for the diddy list....

he's been getting first at houston weeklies iirc and doing pretty well at infinity and beyond when he can make it out.

well he kind of lost to luck in the ditto and abstract logic doesn't have any impressive wins outside of college station.

the ditto is just another MU. he beats rayzorium at houston, and consistently beats g rabbit (on the top kirby list).
i'm just bringing him up for the discussion, makes me kind of sad he's not even being considered, especially since he used to have the #1 spot

He used to have the #1 spot because there weren't really any other diddys in 2.6

then 3.0 came out and diddy became easy af to play and now theres like 10 good diddys with better results :/

well maybe when diddy inevitably gets nerfed they'll all drop him and my boy abstract can take his throne back :p

in all seriousness i know he should get more results, though i did remember he places really well at monthlies in san antonio. hopefully he'll come to DFW more and show us his new diddy skillz

Abstract doesn't not get noticed, he's just not top 3.

The real reason abstract was top 3 is because in 2.6,when i was attempting to drop diddy, he was the face of the character. I had no solid results, and no one else was playing him. Abstract is not bad, he's just not progressing as fast as others. I'd say he's just as good as DLA.

Lol @Lunchables immense amount of salt.

I don't have large amount of salt for diddy players, but you have to admit the characters pretty popular for a reason. He's just really easy to play. Nothing wrong with that, it just means more competition between the players

i think once abstract gets into a notable tourney he'll show he's a contender, but hes my best friend so i am biased a bit ;p however he has been working pretty hard so i think he has improved since the last time you saw him
