TLDR HERE'S SOME GOOD GANONDORF VIDEOS WATCH GAME 5 VS ISH'S ZSS KTHNX
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=outCpJu6rUY#t=18min25s
The above video refuses to acknowledge timestamps. Scroll to 18min25s to skip to the goodies, or just watch the whole set.
For a while there I was the top rated Ganondorf in the world at PM and now I'm not even on there. I can't help but wonder if this is because I have absolutely zero videos posted in this thread therefore people think I don't play at all anymore. On the contrary, PM has been my main game since a year ago and I have either been ranked or competitive with ranked players in all the areas I've lived on the WC from Seattle, to SoCal, NorCal and even this desolate unpopulated hell hole I call my home town of Hanford just south of Fresno where the struggle is real and I drive 3 hours every weekend to find competition. I digress. Point is, even though I play a lot of Falcon now, I am by far the best Ganondorf in PM on the West Coast. Even my pupil I trained, Red Ranger, spanked Bizzarro Flame in money matches TWICE at PM. Bizz is better than either of us at Melee, but we got PM on lock.
The PM Monthlies are hosted by Drex in Fresno at a tea place called Teazers. The last one was called CenCal Rising and was big enough (about 50 entrants) to draw 2 carpools from SoCal, including Aero (one of the best Toon Link's in the country), Kaos (one of the best M2's in the nation) and iPunchKidsz (arguably the best Lucario in the country, 2nd in the world only to Amsa). Anyway, CenCal Rising will become a quarterly regional and I highly recommend people travel to it if possible, as they are excellent tournaments, ran efficiently and smoothly and the generous TO drexbama pays deep, up to 5th place. Here's a link to our upcoming tournament called Don't Teaze Me Bro

Sorry for the oversights. Almost every video posted was put into the OP.Not a lot of people are using Smashboards here in Norcal. Well, Norcal is split between Sac and Bay Area. An overall PR is being worked on for Norcal. The only PR available is Sac and Bay Area.

Note about Bay Area PR:
-BaNdt only has 2 tournament entries. 1 small and 1 huge one. Took a game of SFAT and beat Disqobunny in Winners at BOSS
-Sheen "started from the bottom now" he's here, haha. ChosenL beat him once. He beat him after.
-ChosenL places 2nd at every local PR eligible tourney, and always places top 8 at major tournaments like Smash@Google, BOSS, Smash@Google 2.0
-Thunder beat DSS and BaNdt
-DSS faced off against Myro once and won.
-Ish placed 1st at 1 Promgig (San Jose Tourney Series) and tied for 5th with ChosenL at S@G 1.
-Soda placed 3rd at 1 Promgig and top 12 at BOSS.
-Fridgebits practically started the PM scene here in the Bay Area
-As for HR. Should be SFAT and BizzarroFlame because they both got 1st at the only tourney they attended. I'd even mention
Norcal Sac PR:

Because beating someone in a situation where it is completely balanced totally doesn't mean you're the better player :DThanks for the support guys. I can't believe Lunchables knows who I am and likes watching me play, thanks for the kind words homie. Glad I'm top 4 but I know I bopped Arty in MMs, even though I know dittos don't mean everything. I'm just more determined to get number 1 now :D
Edit: Also ty Hungry Headcrab, as a temporary Seattlite, I appreciate you calling me filthy
Reminded me of this gem:Fireballs are one of Luigi's unexplored moves. I found out last night that gif was posted to reddit. People were like "........bruh. That reverse fireball off the wall...."
It's sometimes difficult to keep track of Spaz since he duel mains Squirtle. I thought he sent Wolf and Darc into losers with Squritle, not Lucas, so that's where my misunderstandings begin. Do you know about which character he uses more and who he beat with his respective characters?I'm curious about Kaito. I don't know much about him, but I would love to hear why he's a better lucas than Spaz, who got top 8 at GUTS3, regularly places top 3 at SG, and who beat Emukiller's mewtwo in friendlies with Lucas last time they played (not to say Friendlies matter much, but its there).
Spaz has beaten every notable player in New England, and he's sent Wolf and Darc into losers bracket more than any other SG player.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3aeSEtbGoMCan you add my set v. Spaz to the videos under my name? It is one of my more recent vids.
Weegee FTW.Reminded me of this gem:

Professor Pro vs Rolex: The Rematch confirmed for APEX
Link pls
@VwS_Professor Sure, im down. Project M needs some hype with all these melee mms going on.
— Rolex (@RolexSnake) November 5, 2014
damn what a hella respectful call out lmao@VwS_Professor Sure, im down. Project M needs some hype with all these melee mms going on.
— Rolex (@RolexSnake) November 5, 2014
Thats right, Pro speaks the truufBut what Rolex doesn't know...
It's not an underdog mentality, it's just that I watched Rolex first and rooted for him ever since. I just like the player, nothing more nothing less.Professor Pro has pulled off a Down-B -> Down B, in tournament, on a player as good as Oro?!.
Sorry, but his sheer style and mastery of his character puts him right up there with Sethlon, Armada and M2K. I don't get the root for the underdog mentality and Pro is awesome.
(I would have put Ally up there, but I'm not sure he's quite as accomplished and I can recognize my own Ike bias.)
I see. It's not an underdog mentality, it's just that I watched Rolex first and rooted for him ever since. I just like the player, nothing more nothing less.
All I'm saying is that I feel overwhelmed by the amount of Pro supporters (nothing wrong with supporting Pro, just saying that there are a LOT), and I'm shocked that it's this one sided considering the absurd tourney accomplishments that Rolex has and the fact that Rolex is actually from the US.
No I understand why people would like Pro more, I'm just surprised that no one seems to acknowledge Rolex. Maybe it's just the surface, but it's not like "Rolex will give Pro a run for his money." It's straight up "PRO WILL 5-0 ROLEX," which always confused me.I see.
I don't know, can't really explain it. Like, I legitimately detested Snake, as a whole, because of all the Brawl salt I had. Refused to play Metal Gear even. Then I saw Pro play and I was like "... ****, can't hate Snake anymore."
I think I used 'poetry in motion' to describe M2K's Marth already and it definitely fits Pro's Snake, too. There's a certain ... idk ... crispness? Creativity? Beauty? Some *something* missing from Rolex's playstyle. Rolex is a great player, but Pro is gahlike.
I guess the tl;dr version is just personal preference lol, but while I can't really explain why there would be so many more Pro supporters I think it makes sense.
That might just be a hype thing. People like talking ****.No I understand why people would like Pro more, I'm just surprised that no one seems to acknowledge Rolex. Maybe it's just the surface, but it's not like "Rolex will give Pro a run for his money." It's straight up "PRO WILL 5-0 ROLEX," which always confused me.
Rolex won two sets in a row against Emukiller. That counts for something.Rolex is like Ken. Solid all around.
Pro is like Mew2King. Hella creative and his main attraction is the punish.
Edit: I think Rolex will do a lot better this time, but in the end, Pro has 3-0'd Mew2King. Rolex loses every Mew2King encounter.
