For a while there I was the top rated Ganondorf in the world at PM and now I'm not even on there. I can't help but wonder if this is because I have absolutely zero videos posted in this thread therefore people think I don't play at all anymore. On the contrary, PM has been my main game since a year ago and I have either been ranked or competitive with ranked players in all the areas I've lived on the WC from Seattle, to SoCal, NorCal and even this desolate unpopulated hell hole I call my home town of Hanford just south of Fresno where the struggle is real and I drive 3 hours every weekend to find competition. I digress. Point is, even though I play a lot of Falcon now, I am by far the best Ganondorf in PM on the West Coast. Even my pupil I trained, Red Ranger, spanked Bizzarro Flame in money matches TWICE at PM. Bizz is better than either of us at Melee, but we got PM on lock.

The PM Monthlies are hosted by Drex in Fresno at a tea place called Teazers. The last one was called CenCal Rising and was big enough (about 50 entrants) to draw 2 carpools from SoCal, including Aero (one of the best Toon Link's in the country), Kaos (one of the best M2's in the nation) and iPunchKidsz (arguably the best Lucario in the country, 2nd in the world only to Amsa). Anyway, CenCal Rising will become a quarterly regional and I highly recommend people travel to it if possible, as they are excellent tournaments, ran efficiently and smoothly and the generous TO drexbama pays deep, up to 5th place. Note about Bay Area PR:
-BaNdt only has 2 tournament entries. 1 small and 1 huge one. Took a game of SFAT and beat Disqobunny in Winners at BOSS
-Sheen "started from the bottom now" he's here, haha. ChosenL beat him once. He beat him after.
-ChosenL places 2nd at every local PR eligible tourney, and always places top 8 at major tournaments like Smash@Google, BOSS, Smash@Google 2.0
-Thunder beat DSS and BaNdt
-DSS faced off against Myro once and won.

And you are right, he probably won those with squirtle now that I think about it. For what its worth, his 7th place at Guts3 was all Lucas, and he's mostly a Lucas main. He regularly beats our best players here, not limited to Sora, Poob, myself, Risky, Numerics. He doesn't travel too much so his only impact against out of staters are at CT tournaments and probably at GUTS.

Player Spotlight:
In case you haven't already heard of him, JaimeHR is a Mexican Bowser/Falcon player (also a top 64 player) who has taken sets off Aero, K9, Axe, Nashun, YadoR, Burnsy, Forward, Heysuess, and Neon.
He recently appeared in another AZ tourney and ran through the tournament.

But then GF happened...

In other news, after many, many, many attempts, Frozen finally managed to take a set off of Emukiller in an incredibly close WF set. Frozen did lose two sets in GF to Emukiller, but not after bringing them to Game 5 and Game 4 respectively. Gallo also gave Emukiller a run for his money by bringing it to Game 5, last stock high percent.

Sorry, but his sheer style and mastery of his character puts him right up there with Sethlon, Armada and M2K. I don't get the root for the underdog mentality and Pro is awesome.

(I would have put Ally up there, but I'm not sure he's quite as accomplished and I can recognize my own Ike bias.)
