Top Players & Videos by Character v3.6 [WIP]

This is a work in progress. Any help finding videos and checking to make sure players aren't missing is greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the new video compilation thread of mid-high level players! This thread intends to provide the community with a source of videos to recognize the talent pools of each character, and it provides newer players with videos to help improve their own play.

Ever since the old one, kept up by KayB, hasn't been active or updated significantly since 3.6 dropped, there hasn't been a new one to fill it's place for months, so this aims to bring that back from the dead. The same rules will apply from that thread to this one:

-The top players listed at the top aren't listed in order of skill
-Only footage from 3.6 full release will be used. Though 3.6b is close to it, there are still some aspects to it (such as Sheik's throw mixups) that are different enough between the versions. If there's enough people saying otherwise, I'll be happy to open up the thread to include them.
-I won't know everyone in every scene, so if you feel like your videos should be included, please mention it.
-On the same note, because of how high the number of representatives per character is, I will need help finding videos for each person and listing the representatives for each character. If there's someone you know is good or even top 5 and they aren't listed as such, please mention it in the comments
-When posting videos, include the player & character, which game(s) the player plays said character, the opponent & character, and which tournament it happened at (if the tournament was a regional or national). It makes it much easier for me to go through and add them if I don't have to click every link.

Don't worry if someone was left out, just post vids below. This'd take forever if I remembered to add everyone (the Diddy section alone took ~45 minutes). I'll add more eventually, like crew battles, players by region, etc. but for now, getting the post done is the main priority.

You don't seem to be including losing sets from what I can tell. iirc KayB included those, just with an asterisk or something to denote that it's a loss. They're worth listing imo, if it's a match between two high level players then there's going to be valuable info in watching it, regardless of the outcome (even if it's just "x did thing y wrong")
I know that'll result in sets linked multiple times so I could see why you might want to not do that, but it just makes things easier to find if you do.

Also seems kinda odd that you've included vids from SI2 but not put any vids of MorKs playing. He got 2nd at that tourney, only losing to Ally, I think his Wario is good enough to warrant being on here.

lol good luck with this, hopefully you'll manage your time with this better than I did. FYI, this is super ****ing time consuming.

I can give you resources to the original thread I had, and I can also link you to all the Youtube channels I followed that I used to update this list (I have like +30 channels).

I have a lot of time on my hands now so I could probably do one or two major updates to help, but then I'll be really busy once winter break ends. Then again, I might be more motivated knowing there will be no future updates.

ALSO BE EASY ON THIS GUY. IT TAKES A LOT MORE TIME THAN IT LOOKS.

I'll be including losing sets, I just haven't yet because I'm still working on getting all of the spots filled.

On the same topic, I haven't gotten around to Mork because Wario is near the end of all the characters and, as I said above, it's still a giant work in progress. I'll add these ASAP.

Shameless advertising of the biweekly I attend.

The videos go up on a channel called PharmaSmash.

Some names that should probably noted:
Ace (Wario/Ganon dual main and one of the best PM players in the Netherlands, has won all of the singles side of the biweeklies he has attended)
Jules (ICs main and ROB secondary, notable because he's the only ICs player here and a pretty good one at that)
Fourze (Diddy/Ness dual main with far too many random secondaries, his attendance is a bit inconsistent, but he gets top 3 whenever he does show, so eh)
Sluggard (Dedede main and Bowser secondary who does really well somehow, despite having a charging up an F-smash habit and, occasionally, terribad DI. He bodied me in the crew battle, though, so I can't speak too badly of him)
Epikfaal (A Sheik main, he has attended only twice iirc, but has done well on both, getting second at one of em and beating a whole slew of other players)
Mr9 (GaW/Link dual main who has taken one of the biweeklies over players such as Jules and Sluggard, although Ace was absent.)

Is there any particular guidelines for which videos you want to use? Some players have a ton of video.

The top 3 active players for Lucario would probably be iPunchKidsz (SoCal), Rongunshu (Canada, either Ontario or Quebec not sure which Province), and Double (Chicago, Illinois). I think Stauffy is no longer playing or is on hiatus or something otherwise he would be a candidate for top 3.

Justbngoode? He's a Zelda from MD/VA. Definitely one of the best, though I think he's taking a break from Zelda.

This is all I could find, and it wasn't very impressive. Does he have any notable wins or placings that missed getting streamed somehow? He's ok...but I wouldn't say he's anywhere near the other candidates for Top Zelda.
(EDIT: Played way better in game 2, but if he's not working on Zelda now and we can't find other footage...idk. His option select in game 1 and frequent flubs were questionable.)

Even if it's a huge step down from his performances before the 3.5 hiatus, Zhime is still the only main that could make a reasonable claim at the spot imo. All the other up-and-comers are either too inexperienced, too inconsistent, or too unknown (no notable sets) to be considered relevant. I think Blacklisted was his breakout tournament, though I had heard good things just prior to that. That was in August 2015, and the video you found was January 2015 which is a significant amount of time.

Another thing is that this thread isn't just about providing evidence of who the best players are. Its also to give other people easy access to good play in general. Its also not about showing who the players in contention for the tip top are either, but who to look out for. Zhime may by far be the best, but he isn't 5 people! And he certainly doesn't produce 5 playstyles worth of content for people to learn from or enjoy.

Nice to meet you more formally Goode. I think I've earned a spot on this list. Placed 6th at STTE3, 7th at Fight or Flight 5, 13th in doubles at Paragon, and 8th at Smashnest 4.5. My region is really bad at recording tournaments and we don't get many, but I'm starting to travel more which isn't something I see many Zelda's do.
