I think we should make an "Argue with Chaddd thread." I don't like coming back to smashboards after a couple days to check out the shoutouts and then see 12 pages of everyone on everyone else's ***. Either just make a different thread and take that sh*t somewhere else, or just say "sorry" so we don't have to read a two-page post on nothing. You don't always have to explain and defend yourself. Just stop being stubborn.

John: An excuse for playing badly. Does'nt matter what kind of excuse it is, a john is a john. Does'nt matter how logical the excuse is either, to smashers..a john is a john and if you make johns then you suck at the game. Nobody cares if "Oh. I could'nt concentrate on the match" or "That guy just CLEARLY PUNCHED ME IN THE FACE WHILE I WAS PLAYING".
Why did you go into the mm if your wrist was bothering you so much? Or even the tournament?

I'm just saying. I had some completely logical johns when that vid was made. Pretty much, I was playing badly and I expressed it in different ways. Kinda like how you did in that post earlier.
Excuse = John
My point is, smashers over react when someone complains or makes a completely logical excuse as to why they loss. Does'nt matter what the excuse is, it will ALWAYS be a bad excuse and therefore a john, and to the smash community, johns are bad.
Hating on someone = a john
Complaining about the conditions of the match = a john.
Pretty much, everything is a john to the smash community. So its just best not to complain about anything no matter wtf happens during a match or what not.
I would know what a john is out of all of you the best, like RC said.
