Eh, you're not alone.I missed the Robin tournament?
Whoops, Sorry...
Sorry, @ Raziek and @Zareidriel and everyone else...
Well, I can at least say, I missed my time. Sorry.I see enough people posting similar things that I feel the need to speak out on this issue.
Being worried about losing should NEVER be the reason you don't enter a tournament.
Unless the entry fee is like $50 or something I guess.
There are two main reasons for that:
1) Especially in this case (with no prize and no entry fee), tournaments are about building a community. Everyone coming together, in this case over our shared love of playing Robin, making friends, etc etc.
2) Even if you are worried about not being good enough, there are few better places to see skilled players play than in a tournament setting. Don't force yourself to sit out because of self-esteem, entering tournaments is one of the best ways to get better.
At the end of the day, we're all friends, and that's what this tournament was really about, not some e-peen contest. Invisible ties and all that, right?
^Honestly the only reason I couldn't join the Robin tournament is because it was a Wii-U only thing. I would have loved to make my Robin get better even if it means losing against you people. I know the Robins here are pretty chill. Really sucks if I can only play on my 3DS but oh well. Congratulations to all of you.
As always, you know how to put things into perspective. Raziek. ^_^ You're absolutely right by the way and you inspired me to join the next Robin tournament we have. I really didn't know one was going on until late yesterday to be honest and by then it was too late, even if I wanted to join. But I shan't be discouraged by my abilities to main Robin when going against you all during our next tournament. Thank you, Raziek for making me see that this tournament is more about hanging with friends and having fun rather than being super competitive and what not.I see enough people posting similar things that I feel the need to speak out on this issue.

While I do enjoy Smash 4, I do think one of its saving grace is the new playstyles available. For example, if Robin and Shulk were not in Smash 4, I honestly don't know if my love for Marth would be enough for me to keep playing Smash 4 especially since, compared to both Melee and Brawl at least, he's a bit stiffer and less fluid than he use to be.Just came back from playing some tonight and was reminded how much I don't like anything about this game's mechanics. Real shame because characters like Robin, Little Mac, and Villager are pretty cool compared to a lot of the veterans.
Preach. I would like this post a dozen times if I could.Being worried about losing should NEVER be the reason you don't enter a tournament.
Check @Zareidriel's "Symphony of Scales" thread in the Robin forums. Next one is sometime in August. With customs.Preach. I would like this post a dozen times if I could.
Time to man up. Where would the rules and times of the next one be posted?
SAVED.This is the greatest thing I have ever found.
How does the game feel?SAVED.
I need to be around here more again. I've been too absorbed inXenobladelots of school work.
AMAZING.How does the game feel?
We'll compromise. You get to play Mario Kart 8 as Robin.I'm well aware of my skills and while I consider myself to be decent at Smash, I know I'd get rekted by MANY of you. Now Mario Kart 8 on the other hand.....
Link does look painfully awkward in MK 8.Great Mila Shrine should be a Fire Emblem course and Tiki (retro) representing the series.
It's hard to use the rest of the Fire Emblem cast because many of them are full-bodied humanoids who only star in one or two games barring Smash. IMO Link, at least as an adult, was not a good idea so he doesn't justify the concept. Should have used Toon Link or something.
We are all awful at first man, the point is that if you don't play against actual people for fear of sucking then you will never improve, specially with such a complex character like Robin.god I hope i'm not that awful with Robin
Adult Link looks so dumb in a little kart, to the point that is awkwardly adorableGreat Mila Shrine should be a Fire Emblem course and Tiki (retro) representing the series.

I just want Diddy Kong back. ;_;
Sneak preview of Mario Kart 9not can do, we need dem baby and metal characters!
The day baby Waluigi is actually a thing, it's the day I'll cry myself to sleep for seeing such desperation in "creating new characters", if it can even be called that.
