No, that didn't really add anything in my opinion, since there are very few situations in which you would ever actually want to dismount. You lose too much in terms of stats for it to actually be worthwhile.

There was locking swords to dismounted units, but I don't really agree with that (FE3 didn't have the weapon triangle, so this point was moot).

If it weren't for my generally cheap internet (as well as the fact that I'd kick y'all's asses and crush everybody's hopes of winning) I would probably join as well. Congrats to the winner I suppose. You have mastered the Tactician to a much higher degree than all these foolish non-believers who trashed the wind jab before the update. I'll be waiting for you at the top.

That was a really fun set! I always knew nair was a good gimping tool, but I never went for it nearly as much as I probably should. Raziek slaying me with his butter knife many times in the set before harshly reminded me how good it is in certain match ups XD This thread is easier to keep up with than the Zelda social, so I think I can stick around easily!

Let me just flag something up, according to that control panel right over there, the entire facility's about to self destruct in about 6 minutes. I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the light, I think the light's on the blink, but just in case it isn't, I am actually gonna have to kill you, as discussed earlier. So let's call that 3 minutes and then a minute break, which should be enough time to figure out what's starting all the fires. Anyway, that's the artillery...

Also, I took the liberty of watching the tapes of you killing her, and I'm not gonna make the same mistakes, four part plan is this: One, no portal surfaces. Two, start the neurotoxin immediately. Three, bombproof shields for me, leading into number four, bombs, for throwing at you. You know what, this plan is so good, I'm gonna give you a sporting chance, and turn off the neurotoxin!

The nair gimps are real

Those first few matches were pretty painful to watch, lol. At least I played better later on. Either way thanks to Raziek for the super fun training last night, we have to play again sometime.

As I tumbled into the abyss of despair below, I steeled myself, mustering all my willpower.
"Not like this." Gathering my dying strength for one final struggle I broke the chains of physics itself as I vaulted through the air towards a sky full of hope. But a dark enemy, cloaked in red, descended on me as I reached out my hand to grasp for my dreams.
Lo and behold, a butter knife was swung down to intercept my ascension-- yes, a butter knife.

That butter knife tore the wings of desperation from my back and flung me far from salvation, laughing as it watched me tumble.
Within my hand a flickering elwind tome mocked me-- even if I used it, it wouldn't be enough. A miracle wouldn't happen.
I could not even be sour about my demise. After all, it was not a lemon sword that struck me down... but a butter knife.
"How many more times will I be two stocked by Raz...?" I wondered as I fell from heaven.
A single teardrop traced through the air as I shut my eyes to the world.

"GAME!" With the announcer's proclamation, the curtains were drawn on this tragedy.

That feeling, you know that you're screwed, that there's nothing you can do except to watch how that butter knife comes closer to negate all the things you wanted, to return to the stage, to regain your pride, to keep your stock, to win the match...but no.
And meanwhile you go down to the deeps of the oblivion you watch the one that looks similar to you recovering, throwing that wind blade to recover after he's done with his job.

Serious talk now, thanks a lot @ Raziek for the training session and some good matches the other day, I'm going to practice the things that you said to me. They can still give a huge advantage during the match or help for the comeback.

Also, someones need to do a "Gimped by Raz's Nair support group" banner, I would do it if I had the skills.

When @ Raziek gimped me with nair for the second time in a row, I thought "Huh? This must me what my friends feel like when I do it them. I hate karma."

If I was actually good at Smash I would have loved to join the Robin tournament but...I'm not good at Smash. x.x

Ah, I'm sure it would still be fun especially since you're in good company. It's a learning experience, win or lose. Everyone was nice too.

Just came back from playing some tonight and was reminded how much I don't like anything about this game's mechanics. Real shame because characters like Robin, Little Mac, and Villager are pretty cool compared to a lot of the veterans.

I think some of my favorite kills have come from Bronze Fair/Uair just because of the reactions it gets.

And there's of course my other favorite, going for the primal scream along with a Bronze D-Smash because it's the hardest (killing) punish I have with no LS and no Thunder tome.
