Looks like the Dancer has a name, Aqua.
Team Hoshido? Team Nohr? Nah, Team Aqua.

EDIT: In all seriousness, that's a lot more straightforward than I was expecting. Maybe she'll have ties to the water since we see her standing in front of water in a couple of scenes? I wonder if she'll keep her name in the localized version...

I fear for my wallet if they sell the trading cards in the western nations.
Not likely to happen, unfortunately. That sort of thing never sells enough outside Japan to justify localising them. The only trading card games based on video games/anime that ever took off in the west were Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh.

I don't know about you, but Digimon cards also had a pretty big impact when I was in elementary school.

Only card games that had an impact in my region were Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic the Gathering, this last one isn't even based off anime/video-game.
Pokemon was popular, but not as card games, at least not as widenly known as the other two.

Beyblade was pretty popular, too, but no card's games for that one ;p

I remember those. I don't think I ever played a game per se but I know I had a few.
Hell, may still, if I stored them somewhere.

By the time Adventure 02 had come in I didn't see them much anymore, though.

And Beyblades, holy crap.
Yes holy crap. My lil bro was into those big when they first came out.

To their credit they were fun as **** though, especially for tinkery types.

Magic the Gathering
Shhhhhhhhhh! Wallet will hear you!

I gotta get wallet some earplugs, I'm gonna go broke in this thread today.

I would like to sincerely thank you guys for giving me only two new pages to look through, unlike 10 from the Zelda social /dead
I looked through em. Man up. :4falcon:

Why are you fools speaking of TCGs other than Pokemon? Blasphemy!

I'm telling St. Garon on you.

I remember those, barely. I only ever knew one person who had any of those, though. We spent like three hours messing around with them one day, but I never saw them again afterwards, and couldn't afford to buy any of my own. :/

Yu-Gi-Oh was literally everywhere around the time I was finishing in primary school - I think 2003-04 was the peak for those. Never had any interest in them myself, though. I used to have tons of Pokémon cards though, but never enough different sorts to build an actual deck :p and once Yu-Gi-Oh came about, everyone else stopped collecting them.

People also forget bout the Naruto, One Piece, DBZ original and reboot TCG and Duel Master card games with it's reboot as well. Yuyu Hakasho, Inyuasha, Bleach, Zatch Bell and dot hack had card games as well. Then there was Battle Bedamons later on along with Bakugon and Chaotic.

Speaking of Yugioh I was a big time nerd into that game and series for several years till the beginning of Zexal then I was like nope i'm done.

Wow. I must have been living under a rock for most of my life, since I've never heard of most of that stuff (Dragon Ball and Naruto are the only ones I know of, but I was never interested in either).

I...what?
I didn't even know these animes ever got a card's game.
Heck, I'd get .Hack cards just for the sake of collecting, if I knew this stuff existed.

It's a pretty bad one:roll:sorry.

Her name is Aqua because she has blue hair that flows like the tentacles of an octopus.

There's a few more out there but it's kinda a good thing you haven't heard of most of them LMAO. In the U.S the card games is between Magic, PKMN, Yugioh as these are the big 3 and some other niche ones like Cardfight Vanguard, future card buddyfight and some others depends on area.

I get it now! Aqua is causing conflict between the Hoshido and the Nohr so she can expand the sea! She probably made Garon look evil >:I

Ha, I know about all those TCGs. I have cards from the DBZ, Naruto, InuYasha, and Zatch Bell games.

You do realize that Lucius was a fairly common Roman/Latin name, right?
And I'm assuming that you don't already know they look almost exactly the same.

They both have the long-flowing golden hair. XD

The chief (and most ironic) difference is that Lucius from FE is a priest (light mage), while Lucius Malfoy is a Death-Eater (servant of Voldemort (dark mage)).

Do you consider Malfoy a trap?

Nein.

But if you stick air pumps in his retinas and inflate his eyes like they do with every anime character, I assume he'd look EXACTLY like Lucius from FE. Point proven.

To be honest of all FE characters, Narcian seems to have the most "Draco Malfoy" feel for me. His arrogant personality and his smug expression just fit.

Bonus points: He is a Wyvern Rider so "Draco" would fit perfectly to his name.

Edit: Ooops different Malfoy. Forgive me guys.

Hmmm....

I would say it's not in the same level as FE Lucius, but eh, depending on artstyle it might be possible.

This artist did draw Aqua as an octopus.
I'll admit, that wasn't my first reaction... It was more along the lines of, "They decapitated her. Those ********..."

So I was thinking about If (bad idea, I know).

Now, I could be wrong...

I was thinking that if you side with the Nohr, rather than off the Hoshido Cast, they'd eventually join you. Since the (measly) hints that have been given in regards to the Nohr story involves some sort of internal change (read: civil war), this could result in them joining you perhaps? I'm just rambling right now, but the other reason is I don't think people are going to be very keen on the idea of killing one's brothers and sisters. Yes, yes, yes, we know that the Avatar was not raised in his/her birth family (read: Hoshido cast), but that detail is probably going to come out one way or another in the games. If playing the Nohr involves kinslaying that would put A Song of Ice and Fire to shame, it could make the Nohr really unsympathetic, and thus unattractive to consumers (let's face it, at the end of the day, Nintendo and Intelligent Systems cares about one thing and one thing only: the bottom line).

Also:
Isn't helping my decision...

What is up with this game, man?

It's evil!

As of right now however, I'm heavily leaning towards Nohr. Mainly because the (measly) information seems to imply that it's a little more than you playing as the Kindly Kingdom defending it from the Evil Empire. This could change with the next full moon but hey, at least I'm settling. Sort of.

This is definitely a game I'm going to need SOME spoilers for. I hate making decisions in games that leave bad tastes in my mouth. The very first time I played through Mass Effect I
let the council die at the end.
It didn't leave a good taste in my mouth or my stomach. I ended up reloading a save like 5 hours earlier because I didn't save just to fix it.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE.

I almost died of stress and peer pressure when I first saw the second trailer. I had my hands on my head and I was pulling my hair out. I still haven't decided. D:
