Thought Soren does seem very cheeky

Funnily enough, he's rarely that cheeky. Most of the time he's pretty serious and so realist it's boderline pessimism sometimes.
That's why I found that conversation to be pretty nice :v Seeing Soren being such a troll is funny.

I originally skipped the fifth case as well, and didn't go back to it until I had finished the other games. The main thing it has going for it is the forensic examination stuff, which is cool, but doesn't show up in the other two games. In terms of the writing, I'd say it's better than case 3, but not as good as 2 or 4 (there isn't enough of 1 to measure it against anything ).
There's nothing in it relevant to the other two games, so you won't miss anything if you do skip it (some of the characters turn up again in Apollo Justice, but I wouldn't blame you if you skipped that entire game ).

Eh, I didn't find Apollo to be that bad. It was...bearable, for me. Granted, it's the game in the series that I like the least.
My favorite would be Investigations: Miles Edgeworth. Not because of the cases, though, mostly because walking around during the investigation phase was too fun. And Edgeworth is Edgeworth.
The one with the best cases, imo, is Trials and Tribulations.

I agree, but only because Justice for All has the circus case. Anything else, and I'd pick that in a heartbeat. Hell, I'd almost pick JfA on the strength of the final case alone. That one is amazing in my opinion.

Yeah, well, you could say I finished it just for the sake of knowing the general story of the series, but if I could skip some stuff there...It had it's moment, though, as you mentioned on your rant.
I see AJ as more of a link tying the rest of the series to Dual Destinies.

Oh yeah, if I could skip the entire circus business, I would too, and Justice for All would be probably higher on my list, but alas, we have to count that as a case

I use Desmume 0.9.9, since that seems to have fewer issues with the game. Also the patch was updated last month, so you should probably update that too if you haven't already.

I watched this earlier today and it's soooo beautiful. The music was performed amazingly and it really made me realize how much Xenoblade has affected me and how much I love it~

Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. ^w^ The music is just one reminder as to why Xenoblade Chronicles stands as being one of my favourite games of all time, along with Fire Emblem: Awakening. The music is so moving, awe inspiring, and has affected me personally as well because of how complex and emotional it is. The game really does have a masterful soundtrack. <3

Well, I finished Part 3-Endgame today in RD, well..yesterday I guess. Freakin' plot twist! Still a bit confused on what I saw happened, though...
Also, Sol saved Titania life after I foolishly went made her go alone to go kill the healer that had a sleep stave.

Nintendo knows how popular these things are and how people actually make time in their daily schedules to watch these. It's a complete break of consumer trust to announce one of these things but then announce it was a joke a while later.



As for the Direct itself, it's on the anniversary of the Pokemon anime. We know Mewtwo will get focus, but could you imagine if the anime got a game again? =p

The characters are the main turnoff for me. Also, the murder case as a whole strikes me as ridiculous, even by this series' standards

the killer just drops a lump of stone out of his window, expecting the correct victim to follow the instructions of a letter titled "To the murderer"? That plan was bound to fail from step one in my opinion.
