I haven't really commented on the whole conversation about appearances because I'm kind of bad at wording things in a way that I would like, but everything is subjective and beauty is no different.

So how about that ? What a great female lead.

I really like Robin as the lead. I kind of dislike the sterotypical weak clumsy male or female protagonist who can't do anything on their own but finds the power of friendship or something. I also love books, so there's that.

Okay, since we're more or less on the subject to begin with:

Clumsiness: cute or nah?

Are you asking if it's cute as a character trope or IRL?

I for one also had some issues trying to make myself likable to other people. I would try to match my image in a way that I could make people like me. Once I realized that I was going at it the wrong way by not being myself, I just stuck with being me. Granted that I do still have some minor self esteem problems, they're not nearly as bad as they were going through high school now that I've got some good friends at my side, with you guys included.

As long as it's not too exaggerated, I think it could be seen as cute. Overused characters tropes aren't nice, as people already mentioned it here.
Now, in IRL moments it could be probably troublesome, I think. Most clumsy peopple won't want to hear that they are "cute", that's for sure...

I like her as lead, even if I prefer more.
I think I just like the collected and timidy nerdy boy better than the intelligent sassy, but "good natured all the same" girl.
and her pigtails are quite cute, I can't deny that ;p

But yeah, her supports with Chrom are pretty much horrible, imo. Even M!Robin seems to have more bromance in there than what we get for female Robin ~.~

Well, I liked the C-support. I thought it was pretty funny and cute.
But couldn't they do something about all these "walking into you while you wear no clothes on"? ;x
Maybe I would've just liked more if it was about Robin fixing things Chrom did wrong, or something like that, making Chrom realize how he ended up being depedent on her. And then about him helping her out in something important, showing how she needed him too.
They always gave me the impression that their dynamic as a couple would work like that: Each other complementing their faults.

Some of the supports in the game feel like they don't start getting close to each other until the B or A rank ones. I mean I know that overcoming challenges in relationships builds them but some of them are just weird. The Female Robin and Chrom support could have been done better to say the least. Like in the Female Robin and Lon'qu support Robin tries to help Lon'qu to get over his fear of women by acting strange by doing things such as throwing fruit at him. I don't really see how their relationship would improve at all until the A rank one when Lon'qu realizes he isn't scared of Robin anymore.

Not gonna lie, if I walked in on Chrom with his smallclothes off, I would get instant S-Support too.

Not going to lie. I have the summer scramble DLC, Chrom looks pretty good in a swimsuit. Robin really needs to not panic so much though. I feel like in all of Chrom's support's she injured him physically in some way.

I prefer to keep 's relationship with Chrom purely professional, in part because her support with when they're not related is one of my favorite supports in the game. Watching 's "daddy's little girl" complex take a strange and even creepy turn was f***ing hilarious and 's sass was nigh unbeatable.

: 'When you're older, you'll learn than men and women can be just friends." This character is great. No wonder she's in smash.

Oh yeah, I just remembered the example I wanted to use for this topic. The Lon'qu X Nowi support. Maybe I missed something but it just seems really weird if they get married. They play house a few times then they're all like "We pretended to be married, let's get married for real"(not exact words). You could say that all of them are odd since they propose marriage right after they declare their love but the point still stands, kind of.

Well, yeah; Robin's a thinker. I'd have loved it if I had the option of glasses to make him resemble myself more.

This is pretty much the closest I get to myself...the glasses would change so much.

I can be pretty clumsy myself when it comes to a lot of things. Mostly with my hands. It can be so frustrating and annoying sometimes always messing up on little things that seem simple to other people. I wonder how the trope of clumsy cute girls started in Japan.
