Well, technically, selfincest is impossible to happen irl, because the people in the same family or even "identical" twins have different genes, while in a selfcest, theorically, the two would have exactly identical genes, only thing changing there would be F!Robin's XX sex-definition genes, while M!Robin's would have a XY.
I...cannot imagine a children between the two, all jokes aside.

@Edit: Actually, if I think about it, the child would be a carbon copy of either M!Robin or F!Robin, and would most likely be fine, unless the Robins have some type of recessive genetic problem.

Great, all the best conversations, including the only one relating to my field of expertise and what I do for a living, happens when I'm asleep. What I will say though is that organized religion tend to be painted very black and white (usually black) in video games to the point where it is overly simplistic, ranging from a vague, abstract holiness to a corrupt body that manipulates the masses. Its a shame too, because there is so much complexity that can be tapped into in that subject matter but that is rarely the case.

The most interesting use of religion in the games I have played so far, however, is hands down xenosaga with its creative use of Judeo-Christian allusions and Gnostic references among many other things.

I think religion is often painted in such a negative light because it's very easy to create easily hateable fanatics with religion. Get some good, world conquering dogma and scripture throw a few zealots into the mix and you have a great villain. Hell, just look at our own world. Almost every week you read about scumbags around the world committing atrocities in the name of a religion. Now, the last thing I want to do is bring in something like that, but it probably doesn't help that we have religious fanatics in our world.

Well, people always have some standards for everything, I suppose.
Things like fashion magazines can make a girl feel really bad about her own body even if those are mostly photoshoped people at school, mostly, can poke fun at anything be it because she's fat, has freckles or even about "x" or "y" hair color, for god's sake.
I, too, went through this, at some point, though, I just realized this was my body, and I should dictate how I wanted it to be, not some random kiddie or magazine. That was when I started to feel well with my body, I suppose, and I just ignored any kind of funny comment till the end of my high school. Honestly, when they realized I just didn't care, they stopped and went after another target.
Of course, stuff like Health care needs to have attention, but that's about it.
It's strange, but I'd say some rpg's might have helped me in just accepting myself, of all things.

I didn't think @ The_Cardinal 's post was really anything too out of the norm. It's a good point for discussion, too.

Naturally, as a huge supporter of academic initiatives for girls or businesses like A Mighty Girl, I try to raise children to value... more important things, regardless of their gender. But, numbers don't lie: Standards of beauty are on the minds of young lassies more than anything, and unfortunately (and statistically), she will be judged more harshly on appearances in their careers.

Don't have the most extensive parenting history, but I have looked after a number of wee ones over the years. Generally I try to reward and acknowledge characteristics that I feel are valuable. If you remind the child of how strong, courageous, and brave they are, for instance, depending on the subject it can do wonders for their confidence (so long as you are genuine and don't make it sound like you are belittling them). If they express intellect, while I try to expose them to new ideas, I try to push them into the field they seem to have the easiest time grasping. If they are good with a particular kind of intellectual function, it's easy to raise their confidence, as well as help them along bumpy areas.

When you actually do compliment them on their appearances, it means a lot more when it's out of the blue and not just told to make the child feel better. Styling the child's hair is a great chance to help them not only feel better about their appearances, but give you an opportunity to talk. Of course, this isn't really relative to a teacher or mentor relationship, but worth mentioning, anyway.

I've been using it for most of my life anyway, so it's just became a part of me ;p when I'm not wearing it, I always try to rearrange the imaginary glasses on my face and always end up with my finger almost hurting my eye.

Glasses? Girl talk? Being pretty? At this point, I don't think there's anything we won't talk about on this thread, and I'm perfectly okay with that. It's part of the reason I love coming here so much outside of the entertainment and Fire Emblem talk. But in all seriousness, I do love how we're so open with each other in discussion and can talk about these things without blowing up at each other.

I for one also had some issues trying to make myself likable to other people. I would try to match my image in a way that I could make people like me. Once I realized that I was going at it the wrong way by not being myself, I just stuck with being me. Granted that I do still have some minor self esteem problems, they're not nearly as bad as they were going through high school now that I've got some good friends at my side, with you guys included.

Breath of Fire 2 did it well though, the way it should be done in my opinion. Lotta good people working for a bad church, especially Ganer and Ray, and they constantly get screwed, but they also are nominally on the player's side much of the game and even provide them help and useful services. It made the fight against "St. Eva" himself pretty damn satisfying for all his (its?) wrongs. I feel like they could have even delved further into it, but they had a lot of other plots to dedicate themselves to, and they gave it plenty of screen time as is.

Firstly, didn't quote it, but seconding the N3DS. Coming out in, like, two days. Put that cash to work on quality.

Second, yes, there is a way to stream from 3DS, but it's expensive as hell. Capture card for that thing has to be built-in. You'll drop as much on it as on the device itself, or more. If you ever wondered why all you see are shaky phone vids, this is why. Invest in some kind of stand to hold your recording device steady instead. Optimally, jerry-rig something from office supplies.

I might still try and get a Robin Amiibo but I have heard amiibos can be hard to get. I kind of want to get a "new 3ds" but it feels like a waste of money since a have a regular(not xl) 3ds. I also need to get a wii u sometime so I could actually use an amiibo.

Oh geez. Amiibo are ******** right now, so many scalpers. They're plenty easy to come by, if you're quick about it and willing to order from other countries (the amiibo are identical, literally, no region locks) or, failing that, pay between 2x-4x of what they're worth.

N3DS is 50/50 on worth if you're supplimenting a 3DS (which is what I'm doing all fairness). If you want an upgrade the trade-in has already been mentioned and is probably worth itWii U is worth it if you're a Ninty fan.

Now, I know I said I'd stop making these some pags ago, because I was just too dissapointed with how they turned out, but I think I might be getting my touch back <3 I actually liked how these three wallpapers turned out.

NFC chip hacking is a forthcoming thing. Custom amiibos have long been a thing. 3D printing will mesh up nicely with both those things. Soon common amiibo like Mario and Kirby will be whatever we want them to be - or we can even buy the chips outright and bypass the whole shebang. If I can get the printer I'm eyeing, I'll even try to be part of it myself.

You want F!Robin, F!Villager, M!WFT, Alph, Gogglechu? Stay tuned. This will be out there, mark my words, although Nintendo is also liable to be...displeased.

Thank you for the response @ Hong . I will keep these words in mind although I will admit that my ability to style hair is currently at rank E in proficiency. Not to mention it would get me fired most likely, haha.

Jokes aside, I am aware that there are some grounds that must be tread on lightly, especially as a male. I, however, do feel fortunate to be given the advantage of a cozy, classroom setting. I have found so far that it's more effective to have the girls affirm each other than having myself doing the affirmation, and that can happen very organically through a well placed and executed discussion. I am thankful that my subject matter lends itself more to these types of discussions while still remaining at least somewhat relevant to the content at hand compared to other subjects. So thanks again Hong.

She's a cutie, which now that I think about it going along with the glasses talk. would make a really good librarian. Not only would she be likely to ramble on about books, but with the right glasses and attire she could pull off the look well.

And I mean really well.

Edit: For Wintropy's question about clumsiness; I think it's cute so long as it's done in moderation. If it's someone who's really shy and clumsy, then I find that to be really cute so long as it's not some overused trope for a character. So to answer the question: I find it pretty cute since I have a soft spot for cute things.

Jokes aside, glasses can be a nice touch on certain character builds. I've done it before. Sometimes I wish these types of characters had a system like that of the PSU series.
