In regarding to P5, I'm also on the hype train. I'd be especially hyped if, and this may be an unpopular opinion, they took away social links and focus more on dungeon crawling and design.

in other news, my Money Match friend literally uses all of the characters that Robin hates; the really fast, light characters that seem to overpower her. I'll definitely need to think quick, and counterpick with effective charas.

Ah, that sounds like it can be rough. But remember, the butter knife is your friend. Love it, cherish it, and keep it near and dear to your heart and it will not fail you (maybe). Good luck.

Well, the bit about the Social link I doubt, principally because I read (with my less than basic Japanese) something resembling the word "Cooperation" on the menus, but I might have just read wrong. Either way, Social links are too much of a big aspect of P3 and P4 to be taken out like this. Perphaps they'll change them a bit, though.
Now, the part about the dungeon I agree. From the trailer it looks pretty awesome! and it'll have stealth too? <3 if so, I'm pretty happy.
I always hated dungeons in Persona series :v and seeing them improving that aspect of the game is...is..beautiful.

Such is Chrom's fate, to forever be the punching bag of smashers everywhere. His supporters are probably still salty about this.

Now that I think about it, it might been pretty easy to give him the Alph/Koopaling treatment since he and Lucina look almost alike.

Oh, it most definitely says cooperation, but what that specifically entails is still up in the air for now. It could refer to support between party members, team attacks, persona fusion attacks ala Persona 3, or it could just be social links under a different name.

I did read that article albeit on a different site. When they want to be, the SMT team can be masters at establishing an engaging atmosphere and art direction consistent with the themes and motifs of the game, ranging from the the dreary, oppressive emptiness of SMT 3's post-apocalyptic world to Persona 4's use of tvs and the color yellow to illustrate the party's struggle to find truth. So I was pleasantly impressed again by the bold, brazen, even rebellious energy of P5's atmosphere, as demonstrated by the music, dynamic camera angles, and striking menu color schemes based around the color black, that seems to mask (pun intended) a potentially dark undertone characteristic of traditional SMT games. That, coupled with the story premise, has colored me interest once more in persona.

Now, my thought on the matter: I'm surprised something like that didn't happen sooner oO I mean, even though I think it sucks, PM is pretty lucky to not have received a cease and desist letter yet. If it was Square Enix, they would have send one when their team was thinking about doing that mod :V #stillsaltyaboutChronoTriggerResurrection Heck, they threw one because of FF Type 0 PSP fan Translation. oO (A game, I must say, they never released here for that port)

Watching melee often feels stale to me since its been around so long (although APEX melee top 8 was super hype, way more hype than Smash 4) and Smash 4 can be pretty hit or miss as a spectator. So while I understand the reasoning for VGBC so longer streaming PM, I will miss it.

I suppose I do have a soft spot for Brawl mods though. Heck, my roommates back then and I played the living crap out of Brawl-, which no one talks about anymore.

Brawl- is literally the best Smash hack period. I actually wouldn't have minded Smash 4 take such a direction to make every character broken to achieve balance. I don't play it anymore because it once caused a glitch that broke Battlefield Ver. 2.

I played 64 and I liked it.
I played Melee and I liked it.
I played Brawl and I liked it.
I play 4 and I like it.

I really don't read into it all that much. I couldn't care less if one was more "hardcore" than the other, as long as the gameplay is what I like and enjoy, I don't care. I just enjoy Smash Brothers. The only thing I want, is some friends to enjoy it with. That's why I came here.

I get the feeling that SSBB gets more crap than it deserves. I thoroughly enjoyed the game myself. I think time is better spent enjoying the game rather than criticizing it.

Oh most definitely. By far my favorite smash game to play, even if its anything but official and was never even taken seriously by the competitive community, at least to the extent PM is. God I miss that game.

I don't like Brawl and I don't like Smash 4, but that's that. I've expressed dissatisfaction on them, but only when asked. It does no one any good to run other games into the ground.
