I don't like Brawl and I don't like Smash 4, but that's that. I've expressed dissatisfaction on them, but only when asked. It does no one any good to run other games into the ground.

I knew I'd run into that **** sooner rather than later on these forums but I honestly wasn't expecting it in what has otherwise been something of a lighthearted thread that is sort of about a character we all (I think) like to play 90% of the time, or otherwise just like.

Are we trying to drive people away? Some people hate Melee, some people hate Brawl, some people hate 64, some people hate 4. Regardless, expressing that you hate one or the other or both or all tends to drive people away. Why be at a place if everyone hates what you like there? Why go to the Star Wars forum if you like Star Trek? I like 'em both, but I still wouldn't be caught dead at one fan forum or another because a portion of said forums would involve bashing the other.

Don't rain in on people's parades. I can't speak for other people, but I don't really like it when people say they don't like something I do, or worse, start bashing it. Yeah, that's your opinion and your as entitled to it as I am my own, but don't wreck other people's sand castles.

If you don't like it, fine, don't play it. But don't ruin it for other people who DO like it.

Yeah. I was actually a supporter of Robin from back in 2013 and found a particular fondness of the Tactician community, even though I am mostly associated with the 64 and Melee community and was not particularly fond of the speculation scene.

After the game came out, I really wasn't feeling it and eventually accepted that it wasn't fair to the community to be managing Smash 4 forums when I was not even playing the game. Whenever people wanted advice and stuff, I couldn't fulfill the standards I expect of myself, so it's no good for me to be handling so much competitive discussion.

Now that I don't have any particular duties here on the Robin forums, I feel much more relaxed than I did when Smash 4 actually released. So in short, yeah. I just love you guys. I troll the **** out of people, but it's out of love.

Can we please save the "this Smash Brothers sucks and this one doesn't" arguments for somewhere else in the forums? With all the randomness that occurs in this particular thread(lighthearted or otherwise), I think that's a topic that no thread is immune to. But point taken, though. I'm not one to argue about that sort of thing.

Honestly, I think Hong is being pretty mild on that. She just said she didn't like either Brawl or Sm4sh, and that's fine. That's her personal opinion. I was more under the impression we were all expressing express our views of different smash games in a tasteful, mature fashion characteristic of the culture of the Robin thread. I honestly see no bashing occurring here unlike what you see in other parts of these forums and, God forbid, twitch chat.

Also worthy of note is before, during, and after being appointed to moderator, the amount of times I've had to police the Robin thread/forum I can count with my two hands, and the majority of those cases are silly things like double posting (@ Weeman

, @ The Merc ). We've rarely, ever, EVER had any kind of flaming, and it's always some kind of one-off random who came in here to rather mindlessly call us "idiots" for being able to reasonably assess the roster prior to its release. Aside from that, if I want something to happen, I'll say it, and people will obey. It's not any kind of command I hold... it's because we listen to each other.

As far as the Smash 4 threads go, this one is immensely level-headed and reasonable. Generally if there's any kind of scuffle, people will speak up for each other, and any possible offenders will listen. People will even go as far as to break the forum rules to speak up for each other, something I can (now that it's not my responsibility) admit I deliberately overlooked.

I was typing this before your response came through, @ Chapter Serf , so before I hit post I just want to say it's alright. You responded that way because you care and don't want to have our comfy little nest caught up in flames. It's appreciated.

I too am extremely hyped about Persona 5, so glad that they're improving the dungeon crawling. I'm loving the Catherine art style to it and I'm digging the tunes made by the based Shoji Meguro.

So after not playing Radiant Dawn for a bit and getting back into it, I can't help but be displeased with the supports in this game. Everything else is fun and I'm loving the cast. Finished up Micaiah's story and started the Crimea side and I'm loving getting to play as Nephenee again.

In regarding to P5, I'm also on the hype train. I'd be especially hyped if, and this may be an unpopular opinion, they took away social links and focus more on dungeon crawling and design.

Hopefully they do make dungeons far more engaging, they weren't just bad in P3 and 4, but also the older games, that underwater one in P2EP drove me nuts with all those pits (admittedly, it's the only of the older Personas I've played, I'll get to IS someday, but not the first one).
I saw we have a Robin matchups thread somewhere, is there any particularly hard MU for him/her asides from the already speculated top tier characters?

While I thought P3 was okay in it's dungeon, I do see some issues with it. P4 though was straight up horrible in my opinion how it handled the dungeons. It does look that they're giving the dungeons a major overhaul which I'm excited about.

For the match ups while I'm no expert but for the non top tiers Samus is pretty annoying to fight.
