I normally stick with defaults. The only alts I use for a character I play regularly is shirtless Shulk. Most of the time I stick to default on Shulk, but if things get serious, the clothes come off.

I should add, I love all of Lucina's alts. Special mention to Cherche (I like black clothes and pink hair is cute), Tiki (I love Tiki~), Lissa (Lucina makes a nice blonde) and, yeah, default (blue is my favourite colour and she looks nice in blue).

I play with defaults, but with two exceptions.
When I play as Wario, I would use his overalls/Wario Land/classic look since I prefer that one over his WarioWare look. I dunno if that technically counts since I play that costume's default as well.
When I play as Lucina, I use the Tharja palette that she has since it looks cool (and I actually like Tharja).

Well no, but she does have a Anna like texture so I'd like to think that makes up for it.

My alts;
I'll use pretty much evrery texture of her outside of the Pink one. I usually play with the Yellow one though.
Either default or Green ever since I made the connection to Mark.
The slightly bluer texture that's not the new super blue alt. I've been using it ever since Melee so it kinda just stuck with me. That and most of my close friends all play Falcon so we each went with our own texture.
I picked the Green one because; a) Green is my favorite color b) I knew a lot of people were going to play Greninja so I figured I'd try to pick a color that wouldn't be everywhere
The blue shirt Villager who has the lazy looking eyes. I originally went with it because he has the same eyes as my character on AC:NL, but ever since I heard that he looks high I kept it for the lols.
Cordelia texture. While I like Nowi more, I don't find her alt very pleasing to look at. I'll use most alts that aren't Sumia, Tiki or Tharja.
Either the headband from Ruby/Brendon or Gold's hat. Gold is my favorite trainer in both design and personality, while Brendon/Ruby was from my favorite Generation.
I don't have a set alt so I'll just go with whatever I feel like

If I go anyone else, I'll either just go default or pick a random alt.

Still, I think Male Robin has the better alts over Female Robin. Does she have a white mage cloak?

I agree, mainly because he has has a green alt. Plus, I just prefer the darker coats.

I love alts in Smash, I always look forward to guessing what they are when a new character is revealed. Not sure why but whatever Remember when everyone flipped out seeing how saturated Robin's alts were when they were revealed?
