Social "Time to Tip the Scales!" - Robin Social Thread

Yup.

If Morgan were to be conceived in the world of Pokemon or Fire Emblem Awakening, I would be almost sure on the money that Morgan would still look like his mother, even if his father is a giant fire-breathing dragon. This is because in the former world, the offspring of Pokemon will always be the same species as his/her mother, but may inherit moves from his/her father. In the world of Fire Emblem Awakening, children are directly tied to their mother (with a few exceptions), with the only things inherited from their father are hair color, stats, and a skill or two.

So what we'll get is an auburn-haired Morgan with Flare Blitz, Rock Smash, Fly, and Slash (going off of SSB4's Charizard). Hopefully with Ignis and Galeforce. If we really want to give him even more of an advantage in Sp. Attack/Magic (because I imagine that it would be really freakin' high), make sure that Robin's asset is magic.

So what would Morgan's final smash be? Would he mega evolve, or would he summon one of his parents? Or both?

I'm going to make this my go-to social thread, methinks.
I have every reason not to go anywhere else...

This place and the semi-dead Pit ST are the most welcoming ones (even though the eventual waifu talk creeps me out). Most of the other STs have more data talk than actual social activities, which is very off-putting for me. The main social thread is far too active for my tastes.

Funny thing is that I don't even play Robin that much, even though she is one of my fave newcomers. In fact, as far as Fire Emblem is concerned, Ike is the only character I play quite a lot (love that range and his games). It is a shame he looks kind of ugly on the 3DS version.

If someone legitimately said "Don't make shoops about me Hong, it hurts my feelings", I would stop.

Though many of us have have formed a year-long camaraderie here. Some of you, I've known even longer. Particularly with those people, we know each other enough to know we never mean anything severe. And just the same, there are plenty of folks like @Gracidea Shaymin and yourself who have not been around as long, but I still value dearly just the same, since I find love and acknowledgement is not only important in retaining members of a community, but inviting them in as well.

If anyone actually feels harassed, they are cncouraged to speak out. I would never want a fellow Tactician to feel hurt. I could never hide the fact I am something of a comedian, though it never has to come at the expense of someone's feelings. Especially since I know having that ugly red tag under my name and any prestige I'd have for being around longer means some people would feel afraid to speak out if they felt bullied. Know that I exist within the Smash community more in service than actual participation, and I am wholly at your mercy if don't feel like something is right.

Humor is universal, yet also limited. I can joke about anyone and anything, as people like @ False Sense can attest to. However, this does not mean that I can just let my moral gate swing open and make quips about every single subject. There's a limit. I don't care if it's a random person over the internet that I will more than likely never meet, I'll hold my respect for them. This will sound weird, but sometimes I joke about my friends because I respect them. If any of them told me to stop, I'd do it without a second thought. If they feel offended, I will not hesitate to listen to why it happened, hurtful as it may be to me, because in the end, it's a way to solidify the bonds between us regardless of how little we may actually interact. Everyone is on the same level of respect for me(although mods like @ Hong and people my respect is unrivaled for like False are unquestionably higher), even those I may dislike for whatever reason.

I also say this because there are times I've been slightly offended by a remark anyone may have made and not spoken about it. In between a few matches I had with False some days ago, where I got trashed, by the way, there was a small offhand remark, intended humorously, about me accidentally SDing my last stock, but that I would have lost regardless. It was true, but it still hurt me a little due to coming in the midst of a losing spree. Didnt get to me that much, though, because I inherently knew he was joking.

Nobody should keep silent for any reason. I'm speaking out to help you people who do keep quiet speak up about these issues, not just here, but anywhere on the forums.

Gosh. I must have been the only one who thought Robin's analysis from Palutena was among the lamer ones. As a fan of Chrom, I thought the lines were weak and drawn out. It's not even so much as the fact we're not used to hearing Chrom actually talking, so much as the times he does talk, Mercer was certainly better practised and 8-4 handle the characters much better than Treehouse. I rather they have just did a better analysis about Robin instead of doing a cameo if they can't do a good job of it. Not like there isn't enough humour within Robin or the Fire Emblem series.

Chrom being a total wreck after that faithful day back in July has little to do with it being Chrom, and everything to do with the recipe. The recipe in which a certain nonsensically-expected character was to be sacrificed to end an even more nonsensically-expected idea that is the Gematsu leak (no offence @ False Sense but actually the reasons to NOT believe it actually grossly outnumbered the reasons to believe it), combined with the comical fashion in which he was presented.

It could have been anyone in his position at that time, and I would have laughed just as much. Robin? Sure. Elincia? Sure. Even other characters I like, I can still find a good laugh. It's not like the characters I love will be dead to me, or the people who truly loved them. It's not like my favourite video game characters have ever changed positions because of Smash Bros. I still like Chrom a lot more than like half of the lords we've seen so far. The number of Chrom fans have unlikely really changed as a result of Smash Bros. Nothing that happens in Smash Bros is going to change that.

Not to pour too much seriousness into a question in jest, so much as I am just saying the horse is just a fetid carcass at this point. It is beyond the point of being beaten. It's dead. It's over.

She wasn't, after all characters don't make choices by themselves. Sakurai, as her creator (creator of this version of Palutena, at least), was asking for that and it boggles my mind why he would do such thing to Palutena's character. Oh well, what is done is done. Unfortunately, I can't bring myself to care about the character as I used to care before she got into Smash.

It's not even the myriad of fanfiction I dislike, it's the fact it's always...ALWAYS Robin x Lucina, which I don't like.
