Well, I feel like Diddy Kong represents a rather large chunk of the series moreso than Donkey Kong, especially considering he was the protagonist of one game and the deuteragonist of another.
Hell, he even has a racing game.
But they're both monkeys :4dk:
That's some species overrepresentation :4falco::4dedede::4robinm::4falcon:

Watching that video, I don't mind :4robinf:'s voice. I agree that her damage sound is a little odd (maybe a bit too overly dramatic), but it's not something shrill enough that I can't get used to it. Plus, Lucas kind of made a similar sound in the last game, and he was my favorite character to use.:lucas: I think the only jarring thing for me is that I'm just so used to Robin speaking in Voice 3 now. It'd be like if they suddenly switched Mario in the next game from Charles Martinet to a voice like he had in the cartoon... Okay, maybe not THAT dramatic.

Well wouldn't you scream dramatically if you were hit by a Falcon Punch? :4falcon:

True talk, I really wanted Anthony.

He could have been a semiclone of Samus with the same general special moves, just without the ball-curling animations for Screw Attack and Bomb.

Down Special - Power Bomb
Side Special - Freeze Gun
Up Special - Shinespark/Jet Booster
Neutral Special - BFG Shot. It could only ever be shot at max charge, but he can cancel the charge at its current state, and the damage is worth it.

Final Smash is a REALLY BFG Shot.

Then his standard attacks are punches and kicks and whatnot. Easy.

As much as Metroid needs another rep, who can you image filling the role?

Ridley and Dark Samus are down for the count...
Rundas or Sylux, the former much more likely than the other.

I mean, besides Mister Remember Me, who else?

Just like how Fire Emblem almost only had blue-haired swordsmen. That's some serious species overrepresentation.

At least Roy got a makeover, right? :4roy:
But Roy is red-haired.
Speaking of which, I heard that Roy's crowd chant is "Roy's our boy!" Oh dear god, I hope that's true.
Reminds me of an image where someone took a BitF comic and replaced Mario with Roy and the Mario Mii with Roy the Koopaling... I wish I could find it.

Was it in relation to a lack of variable mixes to make the travel through these utterly massive areas feel more unique? Because I could understand that.

I can understand it. I don't agree with it though. Goddamn this soundtrack. <3

I don't think they ever specified, but if it was for diversity while exploring that'd be stupid because most games over world has the exact same track the whole time, while Xenoblade has a day and night version. I think they're just stupid.:p

Xenoblade Chronicles has the best OST of like every game, practically every song is a masterpiece. I've even had some friends listen to it who don't know the game and they LOVE the music. Stick that up your "10/10 its okay" *** IGN. :secretkpop:
also side note: this emoticon is like the best representation of sarcasm ever and i think i've found my true love
I'M GOING TO S-SUPPORT WITH RANDOM ASIAN GIRL :secretkpop::secretkpop::secretkpop::secretkpop:

And just like that i dive away, never to be seen again...
Many wrote of Narwalgod's legendary exploits, but accounts of his/her origins and character varied. Scholars, poets, and bards agreed on one thing alone—he/she loved narwhals above all else.
