Has anyone heard much else about :4robinm: english voice in this game? I can only remember his taunts but I have to yet see any videos where he's actually used in a battle. While being pretty popular in streams, :4robinf: doesn't sound too appealing to me - something about her voices doesn't seem to grab well, maybe bit too on the loud and easily obnoxious over time-side? I got this from the Treehouse gameplay for :4robinf: though:


So I'm hoping :4robinm: sounds at least decent enough to not want me have the Japanese voices in this game.

For all I love Shulk, he bores me terribly as a Smash character.

And they didn't do anything wrong. They had a vision for how to make him a fighter, and they nailed it. They were really feeling it.

So to answer my favourite newcomer besides Robin... Well, favourite to play as is certainly Palutena. She is horribly cheesy beyond belief and a great choice for zoning. Best designed is certainly Little Mac, though.

It would be funny if they went the literal route with Shulk and Monado Buster was a special that eclipsed like half of Final Destination.

That would be like Force Palm, only not spammable. :4dedede:

As much as it pains me to say it, Metroid doesn't [need] another character.
At the bare minimum, a series is sufficiently represented by the most prominent characters.
Samus is obvious.
Hell, even Donkey Kong is accurately represented with Donkey and Diddy.
Of course, by the logic Zero Suit Samus was selected, it is a real surprise that Sakurai hasn't included Dixie Kong.

Nothing Sakurai could do would have made me happier than if they announced Metal Face as a playable fighter.

I've always thought Rundas would be a pretty cool character if Ridley never gets in, but he is extremely minor so I doubt it will ever happen.

I'm sort of feeling this way as well. Her voice is nice but it's a bit too "screamy" (from what my ears can hear)

Something about her "taking damage" voices doesn't sit too well with me either, but a voice is a voice, it won't stop me from using her (especially since it isn't stopping me from using Shulk and all of his EN voice's hamminess)

Over time, we'll probably get used to it

What is the victory quote Robin is saying there? I can't hear her.:( Though replaying it, I think it might just be a yell. Actually, do we know about Robins' English victory lines now, and Lucina's English anything?

I'm just curious since Robin and Lucina seemed pretty talky in the Japanese version, so I was curious to hear what they said in the US one (especially the Chrom screen). I already saw the video with both Robins' English taunts, but I'm curious on everything else.
