Unpopular opinion:

Alphrarad's (and similar entities') "How to..." series isn't that funny. It's very entertaining and I love to see the skill he displays with the characters, but I find the jokes trite and weird.

Unpopular opinion #2:

Voicing unpopular opinions for the sake of voicing unpopular opinions is silly.

Skill is skill. He still knows how to exploit others' weaknesses for stylish ends.

I didn't say he's a good player or that he'd do well in a "real" competitive setting. That said, knowing how and when to go for broke to get the best possible footage is a skill in itself.

Most of the players I fight on FG are absolute incompetent noobs. But sometimes, especially during long sessions, I'll encounter a genuinely good player. I fought this hardcore ZSS yesterday. She really knew what she was doing. caught me once with that obnoxious/broken Dthrow-Uair-Uair-UpSpecial Tech. Mighty difficult it was.

All the reasonably close BK's near me close down. :( I mean there's one like 10~15 minutes away, but the streets that it is on make it not worth the drive. :mad:

Besides the obligatory RoF character and Yuri Lowell, this guy and Akira Yuki are on my wishlist at the very tippity top.
Maybe Kazuya and Heihachi, but that's just greedy.

I have nothing against Alpharad, but I think his videos are a bit repetitive. The fan made "How to Play Robin 101" video was better than many of his How to Plays in my eyes. I still watch them, but they are starting to get a bit boring. :/

To be honest, I like the "___ is OP!" montage series a lot more.

Ah, a fellow Tekkie (trademark) I see! Honestly I'd love to see Jin get in, and since we have the Heihachi mii brawler outfit, it's not that much of a stretch (although I don't think it's very likely, but that's what dreams are for).

I know that feeling. I love fighting good players, but hell if I have to fight a skilled ZSS player.
