The first think @Raziek told me when I played him was to stop trying to land on the stage so much. That guy landed RIGHT ON THE STAGE. No edge grab or anything.

Well, I think it was a little of both before. My foes were punishing any rolls I did pretty consistently at first, but I did notice I wasn't doing my best air game either. I shall slowly recover my lost ground... I did have some narrow losses that one move could have reversed. Also, ran into some Ryus, Shulk ate them.

Now those are some quality cosplays. I remember finding a Marth cosplay at the London MCM expo last year in October, I had literally recognized the blue cape, hair, and Falchion from a mile away and I literally ran so fast to him so I could get a picture and a hug! He was alongside a fellow Raiden from MGS cosplay, which made me even more ecstatic.

Ahh, blast. I had a 10-win streak after my comparable lose streak, but then I had to go lose 7 more battles. At least I ended on a good note by spiking a Yoshi with Shulk's DAir twice in a row!

I see what you mean. I've been to 3 conventions and there is a lot of weird stuff that goes on and weird people too.
Should still go for the experience though because I think they're pretty fun despite the weird cringy-stuff that takes place.
