It's hard not to when you want to see other people's reactions to such news. But I swear when I put them in, I put words in that make it sound like I'm putting a Big Red Stop Sign in front of a pool of great whites. It may be tempting, but it's not impossible to not click. (Also my spoiler self-control function is way out of wack. I won't normally seek out spoilers, but if one is right in from of my face, TAUNTING ME, then the reward center in my mind lights up like a damn Christmas Tree. I can understand, but that's what the Fire Emblem Fates Spoiler Discussion thread is for.

It feels so empty though. Which is another of mine somewhat. Lots of times I don't want to start anything or add into existing chats. I will almost never start anything(and mostly because something I try to start will 99% likely be ignored) and don't often add into existing chats unless it's a one-time thing that won't cause any replies and stuff.On the off-hand that a one-time thing ends up continuing or I end up becoming part of an on-going trend, I end up wanting to keep the trend or whatever continuing.

It's like my real-life family with video games. Very often I will never come into their conversations or try to start a chat with them. When they bring up video games though and the chat goes on for a couple sentences, I end up continuing talking so much video games that they probably don't have a clue what I'm talking about. Doesn't help that because of my father's job, we move all over the place.

On the note of non-spoilers in FE fates, I forgot they changed they Crit/Skill activation, the change in facial expression is just a really nice touch. Actually, more than just a nice touch, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT

Yeah I checked in there once and it was pretty quiet, but that's unfortunately to be expected. Since it is a spoiler related thread, and most people here have voiced their decision to remain as spoiler-free as possible, it makes sense that it doesn't see much traffic. Plus a few people didn't even know about it or couldn't find it, lol.

I know how you feel when it comes to responding/commenting on pretty much anything on the internet. I've felt the same way before too, like I have nothing to contribute or nobody really pays attention to what I say or all I can do is crack witty jokes (which to be fair I am kind of good at). So when you start a conversation that really goes somewhere, it feels awesome! So I can completely understand wanting to keep a trend going, but when it's causing people anxiety in the thread

then it might not be the best trend to keep up. You've been really good about making sure that all the spoilers have been properly marked and hidden, but the temptation can still be very hard to resist. I hope I don't sound like I'm trying to kick you out or anything like that. I just want to make sure this thread remains as sociable to everyone as possible.

In the FE Social group, yes, there is.

You must've missed the post where Raziek said that trying to keep spoilers out of the thread was an exercise in futility. People will keep posting spoilers to Fates unless an extreme measure to prevent them is taken, such as giving an instant infraction to whoever does so. But because there is no such measure in place(and it would be a massive exaggeration anyway for something like a spoiler), people will freely post spoilers(but even that isn't foolproof due to spoilers being opened upon refreshing a page) knowing that people read at their own discretion.

That's just how it works and it ain't changing unless the above measure is taken, which I reiterate is an exaggeration.

Say your link, when you refresh, goes to a non spoiler post midway through the page. Those brief moments are just enough for a spoiler to auto-open and spoil you, which is why I say it isn't foolproof.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.....I never did mean though that things were gonna perfect, but at least you can avoid the majority of spoilers.

You all should just look at this as an exercise in self-restraint. I've been pretty successful so far and when refreshing, I either just focus on the refresh icon or look away from the screen. Besides, I'm sure the heard of spoilers will eventually die down to a large degree (but not completely) in a bout a month or two when the game has already been fully spoiled at that point, so at the very least each page in this thread won't be like 80% spoilers.

In the mean time, go play a different game. Like Sacred Stones or something.

I will assert to all of you that Matthew is the best thief whose name isn't Volke.

In my current playthrough he cannot be touched and he actually has the strength to kill things.

He also has like 30 HP.
