There's something about Falco pros.

Has anyone ever notice something about Falco players that use the white color? In just a matter of months, they'll switch to a completely different color.

95% of the time...it's green/black Falco

I've also noticed something else: players that fall prey to this "Falco Curse" will often times lose some of their tech skill.

i dont know what it is, but that happened with me too... i started out white, then went to the normal color, then green, and now im at red. but my tech skill has gotten better. :/

by white, do you mean blue or normal? becuase the blue falco (like blue fox) is reserved for very technical players, its not that they lose the their tech skill when they change color, its that they stop showing their flashiness as much, and therefore can't play blue falco anymore. btw: all of the above is BS, and i don't think there is any pattern to your statement, you didn't even offer any examples.

I've been playing blue falco ever since i picked up the game. I get mad when other players pick falco and his blue jacket before me...argh.....so i have to be weary of other falco players. Il be really paranoid and immediately move my button to falco's pic, press A, and quickly get to the blue jacket, then give a sigh of relief.

I only pick blue but it makes me mad because Im reminded of star trek with that color (dunno why) And as far as the skill thing goes I can simply see better with blue so I play better

i actually think the point of this thread is that most falco's start out blue, then change their main color. It is a little limited in scope, but has merit. Just for kicks, I can't stand blue anymore, and almost never play it, but used to exclusively play blue when I started.

It is silly to say color does NOT have a psychological affect - it very much does. Human beings aren't robots, we have preferences, and perform better when our preferences are met.

Well... I started playing blue Falco when I first took up playing him... and I haven't changed. I just find it to be the best color. However, it does make sense to me that some people may change after a while. A change can be very refreshing, it can actually really help you psychologically.

But still. Go blue Falco!

so he would have had all the advantages of red (speed) and the advantages of crap tv yellow (wich i can only relate to picachu.... and we all know HE has no advantages lol)
so at least you had the speed goin... and i reckon falco would look better with metal legs... after all he does jump pretty high on a full jump....
