Thanx for the matches dnes, you beat me down pretty hard lol. I got 'em recorded, not sure if there's much steak in there to upload, but it's your call. At some point I successfully landed a reverse ASC so I like that
Yeah nice matches, did I help you get some practice in against not-sonic characters?

My observations were that you really really like your spring>dair and that you maybe try to make too much out of your spin dash sometimes... when you're falling straight down due to DI and you've already released your spin dash you probably don't want to be anywhere near your opponent cause you're pretty vulnerable (especially if you don't have your second jump).

Honestly, I have to say the sonic with the stronger bair skills wins.... seriously, you watch my old matches with X and puffball... and whoever connected with more bairs usually wins. Sonic dittos are so fun but so crazy sometimes.

I just wish I could play you guys all offline.

k thx for the lolzy matches, but I'm done. I'll look through 'em for interesting material.... like that strange multi-hit ASC against MK lol.

SonicX580: I need info about those matches of yours. Who are you playing against, which Sonic are you? Do you want me to post these to youtube, or should I send you the raw movie files so you can post them on your own account? I don't mind either way.

Seriously it was so weird. He was MK and I was Sonic, we were on smashville. I either ASCed onto the platform or SDRed from it, and right as I hit the edge of the platform, it ntercepted mk and hit him at least 4 tmes.

Might have been an ASC> Land on platform hit>roll off ASC more. But it didnt look like it, cuz t seemed like the SDR was stuck in place, right nfzy? Sooo weird.

And by the way infzy, GGs =] You did alot of weird stuff with Sonic that I liked alot and will prolly copy =P Like when you ASCed, reversed the direction, then landed and reversed SDJ it totally threw me off XD.

My point of advice would probably be spacing. Sonic is quick, but if you're coming at me from across the stage, I have some semblance of an idea what you're gonna do =P. Try to keep yourself right outside my range more often, thats more of Sonic's punishing lag range.

EDIT:

Please do, check that out... it was so weird I was just like O.o

Yeah GGs yo, thanx. We played a lot lol. I have wifi johns about the spacing, but daang I can see how terribad predictable I am after so many matches. I learned a lot, especially against your non-Sonic chars. Your Sonic's better than mine so I don't have a lot of advice lol... I picked up that whenever you spring > Dair, you really like to Fsmash as soon as you land; but I don't think I was ever able to punish it :psycho:

lol glad you liked mah flashy spindash moves.... uhm, I'm mostly still in a state of ridiculous experimentation with stuff like that, trying to find new uses for spindashes to help add to Sonic's arsenal. So, yea I'm intentionally overusing spindash stuff, in a sense; like trying to hit backwards-ASCs on ppl (I got you once with that lol).

I'm looking through the tape to find that MK incident, lol... prolly wasn't anything extraordinary tho.

Sorry link, I'm brawled out... lol

Napz: Whatever it is, it takes me fro 7 to 44 damage.

That's 37%, from an ASC and/or SDR alone.

 Sonic 4 top tier

O.o! I know! I remember seeing u at 7 percent, being shocked at the gazillion hits, and then looking at the damage coutner again and seeing 44 O.o

How many hits in total was it?
Can you post it on youtube?

Sorry if I'm like pressuring you lolz.

Dude it's fine, the vid is saving now, sending it to youtube........

I slow it down to 1/2 and 1/4. It doesn't make any sense to me. It starts as an SDR, but it looks like it turns into an ASC as it's hitting the MK!!!

I have no idea how this happens. It might be that the SDR gets confused between ASC or an SDR turnaround, as it comes to the edge of the platform..... iunno....

Ahh it sounds soo situational to recreate... but if we could.... my goodness. It probably has something to do with the moving platform, hmmm...

I'm pretty bas at holding perfectly forward during my ASCs and SDRs. Perhaps I reached a speed that was like a perfect balance between the platform speed and my aerial speed so it kept hitting? I guess I'll get more clues when I watch...

Oh Sonic, you and your weird properties.

lawl... CU, I'll see what I got that's worth uploading.

I have to go out for a few hours, but I should get a youtube link for where the SDR madness vid will be when it's done processing.

Edit: http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=BghNRvRh9gI

Who can solve the mystery!??
Awesome....no prob. Just a few recommendations....the two Sonic dittos were pretty good as well as the Sonic-Lucario matchup. :D Or the Sonic-Bowser matchup with the Bowsercide. I HATE BOWSERCIDES. hahaha :)

EDIT: I just watch the video that you posted.....how in the world does THAT happen?!?! 7 to 44% just like that?

OK, Napz I think you're right. The SDR falls off the platform into ASC. Then the platform moves forward a l'il, the ASC is technically "landing" on the platform back into an SDR. Then it falls off into an ASC, platform moves up, and it's an SDR again. Each time along the way, it's smacking the MK

omgomgomg tooooooo good!

Edit: Napz, if you hadn't done the turnaround, it might've kept going  and the ASC hits would do more damage if you held forward, altho that might've overstepped the platform and put and end to the lolz. Also, MK would've eventually DI'd out, but still....

Edit 2: I updated the vid with the explanation. Part of the reason it works, is because when the ASC hits, we're both in hitlag, which gives the platform time to catch up to us..... lololol

Okay, I think it's basically like this.
When you SDRed, it hit MK, then it turned into ASC and hit him again, but as you hit him, the hitlag slowed you down so the platform was able to catch up and your ASC was interrupted by it and turned back into an SDR. So, basically, SDR->Hit/hitlag->ASC->hit/hitlag->platform catches up->SDR->ASC->SDR. =/ Something like that.
DANG FIZZY, A BIT BEFORE ME. >_<

Duuudddeee thank for uploading.

The sound it makes sounds sooooo sick(as in awesome) and painful(for MK), I love it! Especially in slow-mo XD

Oh man, that was too good.

Now if we could find a setup for this... XD

EDIT:

P.S.

...

Told you SDR pwns MK. LOL.

Yeah, I wonder how easy it is to reproduce. Sadly I gotta jet, but enjoy the exploring guys :)

aeghrur: yeah, that hitlag step was a key ingredient, I think we tied figuring that out. It's in the vid description now on youtube.

steeeaaak!!

Edit: and yea, it sounds hardcore in slow-mo
