I remember walking into a Toys-R-Us during the first week amiibo came out, just to see what they were like. Money was tight and I couldn't buy any, but I remember seeing Marth, WiiFit AND Villager there. If only I had known...
Amiami.com is sold out of those three, and is sold out of Pit, Falcon and Mac, as well. Once again, a difference of a couple days of not having computer access/money has meant I've missed out yet again.
I live in Virginia, and I've been to a dozen different stores lately, and the only wave 2 I ever saw was Zelda and ONE Diddy Kong, which I bought immediately. Fox is also becoming rare. A Best Buy in Colonial Heights has a bunch of them, but Toys-R-Us in the same area had ONE, and no one else had any Fox at all. I've also been shopping in Ashland, but it's the same story. A lot of stores don't even have Zelda, mind you, but where she is found, there is a good number of her left. I have yet to see a Luigi! People keep saying how Luigi is plentiful overseas, but not in Virginia...
It seems to me that, in central Virginia, wave 2 is gone (or never even hit shelves at all). "Wave 2" in Japan also seems to be gone.
This is getting to be hopeless. If there isn't any kind of re-stock after Christmas... I mean, there just has to be some kind of re-stock. The stuff on shelves won't last until February, even if it is just the most plentiful ones.
