If you se CF, Mac, Diddy, or PIT on store shelves snatch them up. Pit in particular is looking to be Marth 2.0.
This is my absolute #1 issue with this nonsense. People going out and buying up all the amiibo just to sell for hundreds of dollars, when they could just leave well enough alone and let people buy them who actually want to use/collect them.
Yeah, it's kind of irritating that people would do that when they're hard enough to find as is.
At least I'll get free shipping, right?
Eh, I don't know if Sakurai will have a say in it. If Pit does well, they'll probably make more of him, if not, he'll go the route of the Villager.
It's fair to point out that Nintendo is very new to this business. They probably weren't expecting the reaction that Amiibo received, and unlike games, which are relatively quick and easy to mass produce, Amiibo will take some time to produce at a consistent level of quality. Have you seen some of those Disney/ Skylanders figures? And they tend to run a few extra bucks compared to Amiibo.
Did they say if they'd get any more shipments?Read on NeoGAF that a user discovered that the store a mile away from my house had Falcon, and that another store 20 minutes away had Pit.
Called the one store and checked the other, both were sold out almost immediately despite it being a Sunday night.

If you can get me a Shulk, you would get all of my trust. I called 5 game stops and 4 of them said they are not taking anymore preorders. The other one said they were so when I went there to preorder it the GameStop site said they were in stock when they really weren't so I end up with no Shulk...
Are those made/distributed by Nintendo though? Pokemon is shared between a few different companies, after all.
Nintendo started as a card company. They have a buttload of toy products for all their games. Nintendo does this time and time again, they release a small number. so they get bought out, and suddenly everyone thinks they are so amazingly popular and that they need one. then they release a bunch and they all sell out. They also did this with the Wii, and they used to do it with pokemon cards. Supply less than the demand to build hype.
So, yes or no?

That's nice of him. I see Luigi's being mass produced, though, so he will get his eventually. I have a similar relationship with a gamestop employee who is keeping a Falcon for me even though I missed pre-order deadlines. This is also the same guy who gave me the last Super Mario All Stars Anniversary that was used for the Wii's showcase.Well. I made it to Gamestop but they sold the last Pit Amiibo by the time I got there. The dude I was walking past when I was going into the store was the guy who snatched it, that's how close I was. However, since I go to this Gamestop a lot more than I should and I talk to the guy who was working at that time almost every time I go on there [all the employees there pretty much know me by name] he gave up his Luigi Amiibo so I could have it. It was the last one on the store that he had hid in the back so he could have it. I felt so bad but he insisted on me taking it.
If anyone tries to tell me Gamestop is a bad place again then you haven't shopped at the Gamestop I go to. The employees there are all a blast and extremely nice. Bless your soul Ryan, from the Avondale Arizona Gamestop. You are man of the year to me.
