Because of your mother. In actuality, iirc, the thread was made when they had like 8 or something, which is enough. It was also made largely to combat the amount of spam that they produced. I think Ryan, Bernard, Mike, me, Jake, Nate, and others told them to shut up a bunch of times or complained about the spam drowning out the otherwise "important" discussions that occurred in GTA thread. Thus, the Brampton Thread was born. And later a spin-off series called Btown (which was board dedicated to all things Smash and Brampton) was made during the "Desh is Banned" story arc, but eventually Wak was either defeated, or they realized it was the internet, and we all came back here.

This is true, but during the time of the Brampton Thread's conception, Sauga had many people are were actively involved in our tournament scene. In addition to having people on our PR, since the PR was a big focal point of the GTA discussions (hence the quotations on "important") until Brampton would bring tidings of 2-girls-1-cup and other classics.
