Ah ha! I knew there was a good reason for this pause. Never lost faith in ya. 
Right, well, I'm at my sister's college, and have her computer. I actually got here last night, but smashboards wouldn't load, and I had to mess around with proxies until I found one that worked and let me log in.

Windows reaches down and helps Copper up, holding him steady. Blood is running down the back of his head.
Gary runs down and grabs the radio. However, it’s obviously busted by the fall. Wires are sticking out like uncombed hair, and the entire pack panel is cracked. Gary runs back up to help Childs stand steady, then they all begin to walk up the stairs.

I'm on vacation right now, sorry for forgetting to give you guys the heads up. Anyway, every once and awhile I'll be able to check in and (hopefully) post, until probably the 12th which is when I'll have full posting power again.

Use all of my strength (hopefully augmented by an adrenaline rush 
) to move Copper and myself away from the threat and out of the line of fireas quickly as possible. If need be we (I use we tentatively as I'll more or less be forcing Copper) will dive out of harms way if and when they open fire.

The two Russians charge out of the Medical room, ripping their weapons out as they run. The taller one pulls the AK-47 from his back strap, while the other takes shotgun out.

The taller one pulls out a bottle from his pocket, with a Russian label. As he runs towards the bottom, he throws it towards the lump of flesh that now looks disturbingly like a hand. The bottle breaks on impact, shattering it's clear contents over the thing. The tentacle makes a lunging motion towards Gary, but the taller Russian pushes Gary up the stairs, and quickly pulls out a knife.
The other Russian fires a shotgun blast at the creature, while the taller on camly lights up a cigarette. He takes a puff, and throws it towards the creature, right when a tentacle lunges towards him. The cigarette ignites the liquid, burning the flesh. The tentacle starts to convulse as the hand-shaped chunk burns. The tentacle is detached from the hand, and is now on the floor.

I shove the black man behind me towards the stairs and boot the tentacle onto the burning hand-thing. I then make a hasty retreat, never turning my back, ushering the Americans with the arm that doesn't hold the knife.

The taller Russian pushed Childs up the stairs and rushes down to the tentacle, which is attempting to squirm away. His boot slams into it, sending it flying again the wall above the fire. The tentacle explodes in blood and fluid, falling into the flames. A hiss greets their arrival into the fire.
The tall Russian then backs away from the flames, not turning his back, ordering the others up the stairs with his free hand

I assume Im relatively fine since it said nowhere Im not. Scav or someone else, cover what is going on at the top of the stairs as if we are being ambushed, its likely more organized than a one person assault at the bottom of the steps. And I know that, once again, I look suspisious, but just let me show you guys thru the test that Im human.

I'll move sheepy and gently sit him down against a wall. Then I'll ready my shotgun and join the Russians in our defensive effort in order to prevent some sort of flanking maneuver or two pronged assault.
