Considering how late the game is into development, and how this poll will continue past the disconfirmation of at least several of its characters, this poll is basically the earliest possible glance into who people want in SSB5.

So long as you drop it off in the right places, getting votes isn't hard. 4chan and Smashboards will continue to vote on this, and I can every 4 or 5 months, redrop it off at Reddit. Some sites I make threads and they stick around, like Screwattack. While others, the post eventually gets burried. The good thing is I have people who use those other sites regularly, who help keep the votes coming. Shin-Pichu and SSBF helped a lot last year. Same with Oppossom. Hopefully they help out again this year, when they get the chance.

I'm mostly trying to find new places to take it. DKVine, Bulbapedia, and Serebii would be cool. I still have a Japanese poll that needs distributing as well. Although I need to add a few more characters now.

Technically, the Wii U and 3DS versions are SSB4 and SSB5. I only refer to the 2020 Smash sequel as SSB5 so as to avoid confusion among everyone collectively referring to these upcoming two games as "SSB4."

But yeah, since this game's roster is almost certainly finalized by now, this is the first poll we'll get to revisit down the road as a way to reference "Oh yeah, these were the popular characters during the pre-For Wii U and 3DS period. If New Developer looks back for newcomer options, this is who he'll see."

So many choices, people pick Marth, and who they want. Snake is rather obvious though. And lastly Toon Link and Wolf are sort of less popular last minute additions. Rosalina, and ROB also have lower scores than other vets. But not as bad as the former I listed.

I've taken it to ONE SSB4 community on FB, but you could drop it off at so many place on FB.

So, Ridley is the most wanted newcomer now and gets his own tier... interesting. It's also noteworthy that the "high tier" is home to both Dixie AND K. Rool now, as well as Roy & Chrom. Also, Pac-Man and Banjo seem to be nearly tied for the most-wanted third-party besides Mega Man.

Yeah, I forgot how ridiculously strict they are. That might have been why I left, now that I think about it.
