Gosh, yeah, I'd love mii costumes along with Snake. Ocelot as a gunner and Gray Fox as a swordfighter would be amazing. What about brawler, though?
Volgin or Vulcan Raven? Oh lord, ARMSTRONG?

I think Liquid Snake would be a cool Brawler costume. As for Swordfighter, either Raiden or Gray Fox would do. Hell, Raiden & Gray Fox would be vice versa when it comes to costume and Assist Trophy. As for Gunner, so far Ocelot is the best choice, though Sniper Wolf or even Quiet would be cool (though Quiet is incredibly unlikely).

No, I suggest people sending email to Nintendo and Konami so that this could increase his chance to be one of the Smash Ballot characters. KimKarsmashian sent an email to Konami about games for Nintendo consoles and didn't type about anything about Snake in Smash because he think that Konami wouldn't answer the question if he type that. Maybe one of you could try asking that question? Yea, I know it ok not responding but you try. Hopefully, maybe one of you will try putting that question in when sending an email to Nintendo and Konami. Maybe they will both respond that question and appreciate the support for Snake like the letter that one Roy fan send a letter to Nintendo. Oh, by the way I can't get the Wii Remotes to get on because I don't know where the charger and the batteries. I haven't been using my Wii a long time and this mean I can't play Brawl anymore and this is one of the reasons why I want a second chance to play as Snake. When he get in hopefully, this shut the haters' mouths up!

I really wonder how the Konami thing is gonna turn out. It is worrying. It's annoying seeing people latch onto it to say "ha ha, Snake is out of the running!" when the future of the goshdang franchise is potentially at stake. I'm optimistic that the Konami thing will get resolved somehow and the respective properties will end up being used, but the present is worrying. Going outside this thread is generally bad news for a Snake supporter, lol, most everyone who doesn't want him back assumes he's done like a nice steak (*insert old 'steak eater' puns here*).

Time is running out guys.

As September is coming to an end real fast with the update coming on the 30th, Also the ballot is ending next month, we have to get millions and millions of supporters. I know we can do this. We can hope that Sakurai and Nintendo make Snake one of the pre-ballot characters or one of the ballot characters that way we do not need to be worry about Sakurai and Nintendo forgetting to bring him back in future Smash Bros. games. I really hope all of you taking all of my advices. Come on September 30th and Oct. 3rd bring in the hype! We will never give up guys! will be here soon!

I could see Snake trailer start off with the beeping sound when he start a Codec ( like his trailer in Brawl) after the Smash slash sound is hear (This is always hear when is a newcomer or a DLC veteran is about to be revealed.) after that Otacon talk to him that he was invited to go to join Smash Bros again. Snake accept it. After that Mario is fighting Sonic and suddenly Snake appear and say "Kept you waiting huh?" As the splash screen appear saying Snake Sneaks In!" After that footage of him going against several characters including Ryu was shown and after that he was done until Gray Fox who appear as a Mii and fight him. ( Similar to what Ryu trailer was about to end with Ryu about to fight Heihachi who appear as a Mii.) After that it end when the Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U logo appear.

This could how Snake's trailer look like if he return.

Anyway thanks to those who came up with the Metal Gear costumes for the Gunner and Brawler. I think this is the most realistic idea what we can think about Snake and the other Metal Gear content in the near future. Please make this happen Sakurai! You the only one who can fulfill this dream again! Everybody including your friend Hideo Kojima will love you if you make this happen!

That's the Smash community in a nutshell in regards to multiple characters. It's not exclusive to Snake sadly.
"Ugh not another FE character/swordsman!" being my absolute favourite argument against any character.
I can guarantee Raiden would face the "another swordsman" argument.

A boss hazard does take additional work, and the stages we've seen so far barring Mario Maker have been real simple. I think Shadow Moses would be a straight port.

I certainly hope not, Shadow Moses was perfect the way it was in Brawl and bosses jumping into the fray would ruin it. While I'm ok with the boss battle event in Smash Tour, they're just far too disruptive in normal matches. I would love to just have it unchanged on both the 3DS and Wii U versions.

You can flat-out ignore Metal Face while he sits there and yammers and there's a chance he won't attack you after leaving if he's not killed. Granted, that's not saying much, but still.

I hate how with the whole "5 Mario" thing from the Ryu & Ruy (I know it's wrong, but I like anagrams), there were 2 "unknown" Marios (Lucas, Roy, Ryo took up the first 3). It just makes me want to place Wolf & Snake in those two slots when it's fairly possible that's not the case.

I think that the 2 Mario slots are Non Ballot Characters (pre or post)
The non Ballot could be veterans or good-taste characters like the "smash unpopular" Ryu.

And the 1 or 2 winner(s) could be newcomers for not waste the Ballot selections on veterans
And for that reason and the long time for do a character they easily could do more slots for the winners
I don't really mind that in the first version of Smash (1.0) previous Mewtwo and Lucas DLC had added the 7 Mario slots.

Fitting perfectly with a DLC character pack 2 with 3 to 5 characters for early 2016, similar to DLC pack 2 of Mortal Kombat X.

And finally I think that Sakurai have a list for DLC previously planned and not only for characters cut from the original game but with the purpose of sell more games after the release and keep maintain the popularity of Smash until 2016 with the ballot stuff.
I think that Mewtwo and Lucas was not cut characters but characters specifically planned as DLC stars with Ryu and Roy.
Lucas was developed and maybe put with the only intention for be a good-sales-DLC.

Well sometime between Lucas's announcement and his release, there was a datamine which leaked data for Roy & Ryu in victory themes and stage music (Suzaku). I don't remember if it was that same Datamine, but they also found that in the coding of the characters, there were 5 addtional character slots after MEW_TWO named Mario. It's pretty overwhelmingly obvious to think these are DLC characters with the first three being Lucas, Ryu, and Roy. Now there are two major sides to this whole thing-
-one is that those two remaining "Marios" are it, meaning we ONLY get two more characters with the obvious choice being from the ballot,
-the other side is that those two Marios are there because they had there work started and could easily add more.
I believe in the latter theory that we are getting two more pre-ballot DLC characters (newcomer or vet) before the ballot. I think it would be perfect for Snake & Wolf to take those two spots.

If we are going to get codecs back, I think we might get some revised codecs about some veterans such as because he had Mega Evolution and Otacon could talk a little about his new final smash. They could talk about Jet Boots, Snake's reaction to her boots like "Whoa, Otacon! Samus got new boots!" Maybe we will get them back if he return so we could get this codec for .

Snake: " Otacon, Who is this Pokemon?" Is that a tongue on its mouth?"

Otacon: "That's Greninja, Snake. Its remind me of one of my Japanese animes. Anyway yes, that a tongue in its mouth and it is also a scarf."

Snake: Ew. I wouldn't touch its tongue. That disgusting.

Otacon: Me too. I wouldn't touch its tongue. Anyway It can recovered by using Hydro Pump. But beware, it use Substitute which mean it disappear with a Substitute doll or a log which take its place before countering with a flying kick upon reappearance. That not the only move you should avoid. Greninja also use Water Shuriken and Shadow Sneak. But watch out of its Final Smash, its Final Smash is Secret Ninja Attack which its can trap one or more opponents by using its Mat Block move and overwhelm the opponents with multiple slashes, kicks, and palm strikes in front of the moon. After it done, it hit them with one final blow to sent him into the ground.

He can beat many opponents at the same time by doing Straight Lunge. When the Power Meter is fully charged, it turn into the KO uppercut which can sent the opponents up into the air. However beware, when he got the Smash Ball he transformed into Giga Mac which make him blow any other opponents out in one hit but doing Straight Lunge.
