Definitely agreed. I think the only reason people don't want him is because they want their dream roster to come true or don't think there's going to be 4 third party characters (which would mean Pac Man would replace Snake). But yeah, as stated before, Snake's THE most debated character for Smash 4. Even moreso than Mewtwo. And I absolutely love how people are always like Person: "There hasn't been any games in the franchise on a Nintendo console" Me: "Twin Snakes" Person: I MEAN RECENT ONES" Me: "Snake Eater 3D" Person: I MEAN ORIGINAL, NOT SOME DUMB PORT/REMAKE". I mean, heck, there's even Ghost Babel, which was actually really good for a Gameboy Color game. Sure, MGSV might not come out to Wii U, but we got Snake Eater 3D. Kojima supports Smash Bros., Nintendo, and the 3DS. Snake Eater was announced the same day as the 3DS announced, with a demo, and then to a full game. It's pretty clear that Kojima respects Nintendo. And you never know, what if during E3, he announces a port to the Wii U? Along with Snake's character announcement? I don't know. Snake in my perspective is "Likely" but not guaranteed to show up. In a general point of view however, Snake has a 50/50 chance, which is why he's such a debatable character.
That should be the standard for all Snake fans.
Would love if the reveal for Snake was POTD highlighting where Snake was hiding on that day. Would be a fun way to reveal him.
you mean games rader, and sheesh those guys. They have been wrong countless times since they started that show, and i dont exactly see this pile of evidence hes claiming is there for snakes exclusion (especially when they try to make a case for ground zeroes tone having an effect on this).
I find it funny that they use arguments that everyone else has before. In fact, they only gave two:

Agreed. I feel that these gaming "journalists" just state their opinion and what others state rather than standing their own ground with evidence. My brother, who's a large playstation and Metal Gear fan (He's a fanboy of Metal Gear) even mentioned that Snake seems pretty likely by this point.
I lol'd so hard there. These guys think they're experts on Smash, but once I heard them say that I was just facepalming all over the place.
He/She used some kind of thing that made him/her disappear throughout the game. It looked like it worked a little like a deku nut. So that might be it?
Im pretty sure it was a deku nut if i recall. But this grenade seems made up for her, but either way plenty of characters have bombs so its a non issue. The only guys in the press who i feel kinda know their stuff with smash bros is the guys from gamexplain, but even they think snakes gone but not for those reasons.

Snakes inclusion in Brawl was before MGS3D was even announced. Ekans647 has a good post about what Snake's inclusion in Brawl could really be seen as. Which to me makes more sense. http://smashboards.com/threads/snake.324205/page-6#post-16161695
Before it was announced is irrelevant. Nintendo often has these deals in place sometimes YEARS in advance. Or him being in Brawl could have brokered future Metal Gear games on Nintendo.

The biggest thing to take into consideration is that when it comes to the inner workings of these "third party" deals we don't actually know the details of how they come to be. For example MM hasn't had a game in ages and none on a nintendo platform recently as well. Sure you can count the 3DS VC releases but if that's the case Metal Gear Solid GBC coming out on the VC would mean just as much for Snakes inclusion again. Mega Man has continually been on Nintendo consoles and handhelds in one form or another. Often with re-releases or in another form (another Mega Man). And of course I count VC releases but I also combine them with other releases. Metal Gear doesn't even compare.
