Sorry if this is a broken record but what do you think the odds of actually seeing donkey Kong outside of Mario kart at the direct are.

It’s possible they consider Returns HD as fulfilling their DK quota for the year, and we won’t see anything else for the Kongs until 26 or 27.

Maybe Donkey Kong is a supporting character in another game, like a new 3D Mario or something.

Or maybe there’s a new ARMS and Lanky Kong is on the roster.

My dream is for DK to be one of the year one titles since they just made a really big Zelda game so they need something to stand alongside 3D Mario and Mario Kart.

It will probably be a new animal crossing but I can still hope for Kong.

It was about an anthropomorphic shark and orca teaming up to stop a giant seagull from frying up and eating a mermaid princess.

Dude make it! That sounds super rad!

Mine is about a group of endangered animals (a panda, a koala, a ring-tailed lemur, and a bengal tiger) trying to save an island from invaders who want to exploit it's natural resources. The island iteself being like... a backup supply of every endangered species on the planet. And to help them save it they channel the spirits of long-extinct creatures to assist them (basically the animal buddies from DKC).

Not sure what I can do with the villains though without making them literal humans and feeling like a game Peta would make.

Not realizing that, once this is all over, they’re probably just gonna be sold for their fur or something.

I guess that would work...... OOO they could be the wild versions of animals we've domesticated! Wild boars, jungle fowl, the Aurochs (the ancester of all domestic cows), wolves, etc.

A very interesting Switch 2 rumor if true: The C Button might be used to connect to a Switch 1 console to Switch 2 for controller usage or even a second screen.

This could mean the likes of DS, 3DS, and even Wii U games being possible.

Ok, so this may be a me thkng, but has anyone else noticed that search results on Google and especially Youtube have gotten noticeably worse?

Lately, I've been getting a crap ton of results that are not related to anything I type up, and 90% of them are either Trump related or AI slop.

Lately, I've been getting a crap ton of results that are not related to anything I type up, and 90% of them are either Trump related or AI slop.

The only issue I've really noticed with Google lately is that Google doesn't seem to have made an easy way to just simply turn off the "AI Overview" that pilfers from articles and user posts from other sites about the same or related subjects into an amalgamation of answers that they insist on putting at the very top of the results page yet.

Marvel has done a much better job connecting all of these TV shows together and setting up Kingpin as the main overarching villain than how they handled Kang or how they are currently handling Doom.

I really need to start working on my game backlog again. The last game I finished was back in like late January or early February, and that was Dust. I still really need to finish Pikmin 4, Oneshot, Bug Fables, the TTYD remake, and Knightin*, and I haven't even started Super Mario RPG or Okami yet lmao.

I've been playing too much TF2 and Paladins lately (with that said, I'll probably still be playing the latter a lot since I have no idea when/if they'll decide to shut it down fully).
