we are now moving on to make Bubsy movies insteadIllumination's CEO Chris Meledandri is being tight lipped when asked about a Mario movie sequel.
After breaking multiple box office records and the Mario fanbase is very pleased with the film results, the answer is very clear.

I've never seen someone so ride or die for both PBS Kids and Teletoon and I can't tell shows from the two networks apart most of the time.
One of my hobbies is finding obscure cartoons no one’s heard about.
I feel Margot Robbie would fit more for Amy Rose should she appear in the Sonic films.Margot Robbie could channel that exciteable tomboy energy.
Such a snorefest of a film...
This is still one of my favorite articles they did lol
I guess you wannaMy mom and sister want to get chickens. I have to get out of here.
Alright, I'll admit it. That was a good one.I guess you wanna
Fly the coop?
Implying they won't be lining up around the block to see the Wii Fit movieI will say though, this whole debate on a Smash Cinematic Universe is really opening my eyes on just how many Nintendo franchises will probably flop on the big screen.
Like taking off my Nintendo fan bias here, a lot of these franchises get hard carried by Smash and once you go past a franchise of Kirby's caliber it's more than likely gonna tank at the box office
Nintendo and Illumination looking at the box office for the F-Zero-Star Fox crossover movie(it sold 12 tickets total)
Hey, Studio Distribution Services (a joint-venure between Universal and Warner) exists, so they are on good terms, until the deal expires in 2030.Nintendo being pulled between WB and Comcast?

Bit of an understandable mistake, that one. A BUNCH of PBS Kids shows are Canadian and give a lot of the same vibes as some of Teletoon's shows. There's even an old block called the Bookworm Bunch made up of Nelvana cartoons - and Nelvana was one of Teletoon's biggest contributors.I've never seen someone so ride or die for both PBS Kids and Teletoon and I can't tell shows from the two networks apart most of the time.
Happy to help. I'm always workin' to get the word out on obscure but awesome shows. One of my hobbies is finding obscure cartoons no one’s heard about.
You’ve been a big help
The furry when he shows up to the theater (he didn't get the memo that FNAF 2 was out)I wish I had saved the tweet, apparently I didn’t.
But there was a really funny post with that wizard meme summoning 30,000 furries to fill the seats for a star fox movie.
And Low key, maybe they. Hold carry it if Krystal was in the movie lol.
I feel like that's what people said when Marvel started adapting relatively obscure or less popular heroes like Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy.I will say though, this whole debate on a Smash Cinematic Universe is really opening my eyes on just how many Nintendo franchises will probably flop on the big screen.

Ironically, I think captain Falcon has enough meme power to bring people to his movie.Nintendo and Illumination looking at the box office for the F-Zero-Star Fox crossover movie(it sold 12 tickets total)

In all fairness though, they went for the more obscure when the MCU built up a reputation and clearly was building up to something. Got the general public invested first. On that note, the general public is unaware of like 90% of Nintendo's franchises, and Nintendo doesn't even care for like 75% of them so that's one hell of a reputation they gotta make for these franchises if they want them to succeed as movies.I feel like that's what people said when Marvel started adapting relatively obscure or less popular heroes like Ant-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Fire Emblem definitely holds it own. Same with Metroid, they just need to make it the right way.In all fairness though, they went for the more obscure when the MCU built up a reputation and clearly was building up to something. Unless something changes, Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon are probably the only ones that 100% can stand their ground (though idk if Kirby and AC would work as movies). The rest are gonna be viotiale as either they target sizable yet niche audience, or just flops because they're just unknown franchises with a dwindling fanbase.

Shut the **** up the Game & Watch movie is gonna do numbersFrom what I understand the Mario movie is pretty much made exclusively for already existing fans
If they go the same route for other Nintendo franchises there's no way in hell they'll make buck at the box office.
The part where Mr.Game and Watch said "Beep" really ****ed me up, man.Shut the **** up the Game & Watch movie is gonna do numbers
Bowser made this postPeaches won’t get out of my head and I love it
Don't do this to me.Taaaake ooooon meeeee

Illumination + Metroid is a match made in hell.Twitter arguing if there should be a Smash cinematic universe, I'm glad we discussed it in a civil manner.
Anyways, the answer is no it doesn't need to exist, and if you disagree you're a loser and have zero friends and no money and take a shower you smell.
Edit: arguing over this in particular

Some exec's gonna find out Metroid has enemies called Zoomers and will be overcome with euphoria at the perfect way to give the movie comic relief Minion equivelantsIllumination + Metroid is a match made in hell.
On Jonathan Majors, it really disappointing to hear the news of what has transpired around him. I know that Marvel Studios are currently taking careful steps and procedures at the moment and it would not be a surprise if they decided to recast him. This account never misses lmao:
