Not a spoiler but before I saw the movie, I had one theory that Foreman Spike was going to be a bad guy in a twisty way, considering he never appeared in prerelease material.

I know Giuseppe isn't a brother, but I think it's a really cool coincidence that Dorkly and Nintendo came up with the same name.

This video also hits very differently since seeing the movie

Final Fantasy 1-6 finally have a release date for Switch (and PS4) - April 19th.

I haven't played about half of these before, so I'm looking forward to trying them out for the first time. (I might also pick up 6 again, because Final Fantasy 6 is outstanding)

"Aw man, I remembered it's April, Mega Man Battle Network LCs are out, I still need to beat Metroid Prime Remastered, I have RE4 on my PC ready to play so I can experience the classic title, I've been meaning to check out Spidey PS4 and I've recently gotten in to Wario Land, all while in the middle of moving. Thankfully, I can't think of any significant release I'll have to worry about"

I haven't really dabbled in the Final Fantasy series, but I think I'll just stick with classic FF7.

It has come to my attention that Bibarel is Normal/Water, and my Bidoof is gonna evolve soon. Meanwhile, because lol Gen 1, Ace the Psyduck won't be evolving until level 33. And in a game with no exp share, well... look's like he's gonna be gone.

So let's see if I can find a replacement with decent type coverage

Twitter being a deranged place once again. Like, with each and every new live-action remake Disney announces, they throw a fit and act like they're taking giant steaming dumps on the medium of animation and that anybody who watches the live-action movies are stinky bad people who insult animation

Alright, two gyms down in Plat. So some thoughts so far:

  1. This game was honstly harder than I thought it's be. Not saying it's hard (I swept Gardenia with a Zubat), but there is some added difficulty here. I know I lamented about no EXP share, but I think what's actually kicking my ass is that the bosses of this game are 3-5 levels higher than what they are in BDSP. Now BDSP has the better movepool by far, but it's counteracted by the fact that I'm not 3-5 levels below the boss. In a way, it's fun because I'm actually swapping to mix and match strats, but it's not fun when you need to grind for a bit (and for other fights, you're overleveld).
  2. I can't say for sure if I like it more than BDSP, but I will say it is very annoying on the content BDSP doesn't have. There's more to the story, the aestetics (as in the overworld) look significantly nicer, and there's uniqueness to certain locations (such as gyms) that are just absent in BDSP. I really hope the rest of the game isn't me going, "Now why wasn't that in the remake?"

Should Rosalina appear at some point which she most likely will. Any of the following would be best for her. Tilda Swinton, Cate Blanchett, Maya Rudolph, Charlize Theron. I'm fine with any of them.

Still stand on Stephen Fry as King K. Rool's best choice for voice actor.

It goes without saying that I am enjoying my time with this game. While I did say I can't tell if I like it more than BDSP (especially this early on), my biggest issue with BDSP is that the game takes a nosedive in quality near the end. If Plat can stay consistent, then I'd prefer it to the remakes. The only thing holding me back from saying it's flat out better rn is the QoL changes BDSP made

For the record, I'd already spoiled myself on the ending LONG before Sonic accidentally let things slip cuz I'm a curious idiot who gets drawn into spoilers like a moth without sunglasses to a bug zapper. Whoops.

One other thing to everyone: Did anyone else beside the one who quoted or mentioned me see the initial post I made about [Hyperlink Blocked] that was supposed to be spoliered before it was edited into a spoiler?

Thing is, while I said this before, I wanted to say I am sorry to everyone, especially those who have not seen the movie and have unfortunately ended up seeing that. I just forgot how big a spoiler it was.
