I just watched the Guardians Holiday Special.

Seems like one of my headcanons actually came true.

Mantis being one of Ego's children that he kept alive due to finding use in her and having lied about finding her as a larvae.

This making her Peter's half-sister.

Oh yeah, I should watch the Holiday Special sometime soon.

Not sure if today doh, as we are spending the day doing house re-organization for the new TV.

He asks what Cringe means in the German localizaion

He asks what a troll is in the spanish localization

This game has many problems but this part was pretty good

Somewhere out there on this big blue marble
Hm, I was wondering something about Pokémon Scarlet. Wondering if any of you could help me out.

Basically I already completed the Legendary Beasts missions (just need to beat the ending of that route) and currently I miss one medal and one Team Star Battle. The problem is that It seems my team is severely underleveled (around level 44 when my opponents all have level 60-so mons), and since Pokemon Bank isn't compatible yet with the game I was wondering if ya'll had any good feedback to either grind levels or get my team to the proper pace.

Thanks Jondolio! Nice to see you again!
Do not underestimate the power of EXP candies, they can be found in the little sparks in the overworld but are most easily gotten through the Tera raids. Higher level raids get you more though they are obviously challenging. Also make sure you do the classes at the school as succeeding the midterms and finals have you rewarded with them too, though this is only when you first clear them. Also, the last gym isn't 60+ so you can get that badge to unlock the higher raid tier while also unlocking the final exams iirc

Alright then! Gonna do a good chunk of Tera raids too and assist to the classes and see if I get enough to improve my team.

Thanks Gwen!

Enough tine has passed, the 3D era of Pokemon is better than the 2D era
Ngl, there's a good chunk of stuff to enjoy from the 3D era.

Sure, Black & White looked great visually, but there's a lot of merit to the character and Pokémon design in the 3D era. And the 3DS 3D models do have a lot of charm to them (specially in Sun/Moon and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire). Legends Arceus also had really good animation for the characters imo.

I know I've said I would do this before. But I get the idea to do this every week and completely start it from scratch every single time. So round 1 of suggestions for a hypothetical "Ultimate 2". This time Nintendo and Nintendo Adjacent characters (meaning characters from games like Hyrule Warriors, Mario + Rabbids, Legend of the Seven Stars, or the Capcom produced Zeldas).

Well, I thought It would take me more days but I'm already through more than half of Season 2 of the 90s Spider-Man cartoon. Already watched up to the end of the Beast Spider-Man Duology of episodes so I feel I have seen enough to share my thoughts already.
Yeah, I am surprised at how well It holds up.

Despite It being a kids show It manages to tackle some tough topics in a way which is really well understood (the whole Punisher backstory for example or the concept of toxic relationships and how victims of them can have It tough to run from the past and such).

My favourite episodes so far are the HydroMan episode (really relevant today in my country btw as It is the day against gender violence and I feel the episode does a decent job at showing the dangers of having toxic attitudes and mentalities after a relationship) and the fight of the hunters featuring Kraven and Punisher.

I also really like Peter Parker in this series. He's an adult but he isn't perfect either, he has some flaws and sometimes he has a tough time dealing with them. It is satisfying to watch how by the end of each episode he improves over those flaws and becomes an even better person not just for the people he has around him but also for himself.

The villain selection is quite good, quite the iconic villains so far. And I feel they were all translated really well. I actually heard somewhere that this show started the whole idea of Peter being a student of Doc Ock, which I feel is quite natural for both characters and I'm glad has stood around.

Honestly, the only thing I'd call dated is the use of CGI in some scenes to represent the city. But although It can slightly distract sometimes, I can get past It as that was the trend and the time and I'm sure back then It was really new and different from other shows.

So yeah, overall I really reccomend this show. I feel It captures the character quite well alongside his world.

The whole last chunk of S/V is just so damn cool.

I hate to keep comparing it to SwSh. But in that game, once you reach the endgame the entire thing just kinda falls apart. It’s a mess.

Here, it feels like everything comes together. The final area and the last few battles are ****in badass. I’m still listening to the Area Zero track.

I do have a question as someone who hasn't finished the Game?

To get any ending at all do you need to complete all three paths? Or you get a different ending for each one?

I plan to do the three of them, but just want to be sure.
