Pretty basic one, but this direct caught me off guard so I wasn't able to put too much mustard on these. My Switch 2 one will be maybe more creative.

Well, Kai no Kiseki got an English version of it's title leak, Trails Beyond the Horizon so that might end up being the case. It is also the first time I heard of Kai no Kisekiso I need to haul ass and beat Cold Steel 1 even more, turns out I was right at the beginning of chapter 6, not the tail end of the game before quitting for 3 years

Honestly, my hope would be a brand new IP from him.......... or a sequel for Kid Icarus Uprising.



Uprising was SUCH a good game and showed how crazy reinventing a dead IP could be, but all he's really done recently is Smash. Let the man cook. Let him reinvent a dead Nintendo IP and give it the love and care he gave Uprising.

While I agree, it's kinda funny how Sakurai is known to be the Nintendo Dead IP Revival Guy over nothing but Uprising.

To be fair, some of that has to do with making Ice Climber and R.O.B relevant-ish in any capacity due to Smash as well. Or kids knowing Ness pass the N64 era. You could argue Fire Emblem, but they were at least still making games, even if they were Japan only, I don't think it's weird to say Melee was part of the reason that series got a push in the west.

UMVC3 mods for Juri and Bad Box Art Mega Man are being made. I'm waiting on regular Mega Man myself. Had fun when I played MVC2 in an arcade with him recently. So I'm looking forward to that. They did make Mega Man X as well, which is sick. Dunno if TVC Volnutt was added or not.

I mean…. but did that have to mean they had to make an always online live service open world pirate mmo with a heavy pvp emphasis? I’m not saying they had to make a new banjo, I kind of agree they needed something to put them back on the map. It’s just… why did “appealing to modern sensibilities” mean embracing so many of the worst aspects of modern gaming.

And I mean it’s not like everwild is looking much better based on what we know of it.

They didn’t really embrace those ideas they kinda helped lead the charge with them. Fortnite Battle Royale and PUBG had only been out for like maybe a year at that point?

It’s kind of proof that Rare never really lost their creative cutting edge.

Everwild is, well it’s something I guess. Being restarted twice isn’t really a great sign and to this day we have no idea what the game actually is but I’m glad Microsoft is letting it happen regardless. Really looking forward to that game.

Day 26: Paranormasight

Yeah, no memes I'm afraid, this game is also surprisingly niche so I can't find anything. This VN is about a spooky battle royale, I can't go into the story too much but a bunch of people get spooky items that lets them use the power of curses to kill people, this is the Rite of Resurrection, and your prize is the ability to well, resurrect someone. This VN has the vibes of some kind of old TV show, especially in the visuals, I can't explain it, but it just looks nice. Especially Richter Kai, what a snazzy ass suit. I didn't know anything about this game other than it doing incredibly well in review scores, so please, do give this a shot, you already know more than I did but the vibes are excellent and this game does cool stuff.

i LOVE pokemon!! it was the first game i played competitively. used to be in them wifi chat rooms back in the day... good times. i consume a lot of pokemon youtube content. I own so many plushies... perhaps i buy too many. been tryna get into card collecting but the scalpers and bots make it impossible to enjoy the hobby.

i dont really play the games anymore. it takes me like 1-2 years to beat a new game lol like i bought violet on launch and only put 10 mins into it. legends arceus was hella fun tho

but yes, i love pokemon. own lots of pokemon related things, even jewelry lol
