First thing his new daddy did was make him get plastic surgery to look more like his baby pictures. This is not gonna go well.Someone’s gotta take care of DK. Rare’s been gone for years, Activision flaked, and Retro’s busy. So if no one else will take him, it might as well be his daddy.
For a second I thought this was gonna be about a different kind of daddy cause of the plastic surgery bitFirst thing his new daddy did was make him get plastic surgery to look more like his baby pictures. This is not gonna go well.
What kind of dog bark are we talking here? Big booms, medium screeches, or little yips? What would yall do if one day, you woke up and found out Rabbits gained the vocal skilll to bark like a dog?
You’ve never heard of a celebrity getting work done to look younger, but it only makes them look weirder? Happens all the time.First thing his new daddy did was make him get plastic surgery to look more like his baby pictures. This is not gonna go well.
Yeah the metaphor is kinda falling apart. For a second I thought this was gonna be about a different kind of daddy cause of the plastic surgery bit
Just because it does happen doesn't mean it should happen. But like I said, the metaphor is falling apart a little. You’ve never heard of a celebrity getting work done to look younger, but it only makes them look weirder? Happens all the time.
Depending on the rabbit size. Cottentails and would probably sound like little yappers. What kind of dog bark are we talking here? Big booms, medium screeches, or little yips?
H-huh. I just woke up a few minutes ago and I get greated to thisFor a second I thought this was gonna be about a different kind of daddy cause of the plastic surgery bit
hmmmmm..... nah, I don't like it. Like I love dogs but barking is one of the most annoying and triggering sounds and I just would like rabbits less if they made that noise.Depending on the rabbit size. Cottentails and would probably sound like little yappers.
Ok but imagine you had this unit in your househmmmmm..... nah, I don't like it. Like I love dogs but barking is one of the most annoying and triggering sounds and I just would like rabbits less if they made that noise.
I have too much trauma over my dogs barking and not being able to get it to stop and feeling like my mom, dad, sister, and everyone in the neighborhood was gonna come over and yell at me for letting them bark that I just can't sign off on this.Ok but imagine you had this unit in your house

Thats basickly a dog on it own that looks like a rabbit.
Granted, it would be annoying to be sleeping, the rabbit suddnly gets mad or scared, as rabbits do, and bark because they just got pissed off or scared
Did BOTW show up for the first Switch direct?Rumors are now saying Metroid Prime 4 will be absent from the Switch 2 Direct.
Well, it is a Switch 1 game after all.
There's no guarantee that a new studio will do Donkey Kong more justice merely because they are European/American though.Bottom line is I'm just not hyped for what nintendo's internal teams will do with Donkey Kong and I think they should have given him a new semi-permanent home at a western game development studio. Even if they had to build one from scratch.
I mean yeeeeeeessss. But like... most of the problems I've had with the very little we've seen of the character come down to the fact that Nintendo is developing it internally and they are Japanese so like.... they have a different cultural sensibility, method of stylizing animation, like it's just a different culture. That's not a bad thing but when a lot of DK's founding blocks, at least in the Country era, are made from outside that cultural perspective and in a different one you know it's just not going to feel... right... Add on top of that the added additional perspective of being squeaky clean and vaguely surreal Nintendo and I just don't see them fitting well with the Donkey Kong brand unless they stick to the Arcade stuff. Which would also be kinda bad. There's no guarantee that a new studio will do Donkey Kong more justice merely because they are European/American though.
I can't comment on the cultural stuff so I'll take your word on it.I mean yeeeeeeessss. I mean maybe. IDK, Mario Wonder is very shallow to me. Like it's just a new coat of paint on what is essentially the same stuff Mario has been doing for years. And I have played it all the way through so I can comment. Mario is the character that looks the most different, everyone else is pretty much the same. All the areas are pretty much just standard Mario biomes except for Shining Falls. And the wonder flower stuff... it can be interesting but it mostly just feels like jangling keys in your face, to me anyway. Like it feels like a distraction and a gimmick more times than anything really interesting. I like that it adds a little of the "collect-a-thon" aspect of 3D Mario to the 2D games but like... IDK.I can't comment on the cultural stuff so I'll take your word on it.
Super Mario Wonder shows that they are willing to branch out from the promotional art style at the very least so they might switch things out with DK too?
I dunno man man if they get the Mario team to make a DK game that works like 3D World I’d be super down for that.Bottom line is I'm just not hyped for what nintendo's internal teams will do with Donkey Kong
Yeah but who? Every time they try and get someone else on Donkey Kong they never stick around. At this point it might be better to just develop DK internally, or else we’ll keep getting these ten year gaps in between games.and I think they should have given him a new semi-permanent home at a western game development studio. Which is why, to this day, I will always say that Nintendo of America should have an in house development team, or at least more of a hand in the creation of games. Like "OK these specific series always seem to do better in america and when made by american companies, you deal with them".Donkey Kong as a protagonist sold best under Western developers. On the contrary, you can argue that the Eastern developers sold the best games where he was the antagonist.

I think nintendo will make a DK game that plays really well and maybe had a bunch of fun and interesting ideas. But it will not feel like a Donkey Kong game. Mostly in a lot of little ways, but with a few big ways that I can't predict. Based entirely on their track record of games they've made in house.I dunno man man if they get the Mario team to make a DK game that works like 3D World I’d be super down for that.

Believe it or not, they do! And they worked with Donkey Kong before.Which is why, to this day, I will always say that Nintendo of America should have an in house development team, or at least more of a hand in the creation of games.
It’s time for Luigi vs Diddy KongBelieve it or not, they do! And they worked with Donkey Kong before.
That's right, they did the Mario vs Donkey Kong games. That's what you mean, right?
Diddy's MansionIt’s time for Luigi vs Diddy Kong
the switch 2 direct or did they announce another?I dont care what shows up at this direct, i just want Tomodachi Life![]()
Huh. I.... did not know that. I guess I'll eat crow on that one. I could have sworn the Mario vs. DK games were made in Japan. Oh well.Believe it or not, they do! And they worked with Donkey Kong before.
That's right, they did the Mario vs Donkey Kong games. That's what you mean, right?
Dammit. I forgot that was happening today. My Nintendo Gold Points have been discontinued.
Digital preorders that were placed before yesterday, and physical games that released between March 24 2024 and March 25 2025 will still award Gold points, but all other methods are gone.
Gold points may still be spent until March 2026, with the one year expiration date applying.
That sounds like it would a very... different game from Luigi'sDiddy's Mansion
They’re doing the prison death matches already? It’s time for Luigi vs Diddy Kong
They're both horror themed, that's for sureThat sounds like it would a very... different game from Luigi's
Keep in mind, most leakers seem to agree there are more megas than what’s been leaked. They are working with the beta build that was leaked in the Terra leak. So things may have changed since then and there could be more or less. But I doubt they cut any of the leaked ones as it sounds like models have been seen for them.I can only imagine if we get a direct this week it’ll be a Mini. Such a weird thing to do, holding a separate direct right before the grand reveal of your new system. Especially when February was open, But they wouldn’t be Nintendo if they weren’t weird.
ALSO
Apparently Dragalge, Barbaracle, and Eternal Floette also get Megas.
Also supposedly Flygon gets left in the dust again. Still holding out hope for Novern though.
I think that’s where this is going. If we get no regionals or like 2 of them like Paldea, then they just focus solely on mega designs. Bringing the mechanic back to champions, but also allowing them to compete in the Gen 10 format. Either through champions or in the games themselves.A part of me wonders if they're gearing up to bring back Megas for Gen 10.
Cause I'm assuming that every previous Mega returns, which would mean that they've been remodeled/retextured for the higher fidelity Pokemon games, so by all means are future proofed for Gen 10
These are S Tier choices.More ZA leaks/rumors
Add Mega Skarmory and Mega Hawlucha to the list
