Unova gets exactly one Mega, and what'd they choose?

The one and only gen 5 Mega Evolution is the puffy pink poster child for grinding in Black/White. It's cute and all, but we're definitely gonna need more Unova Megas.

I hope we get some more too. I did kinda find it odd that of all the classic Unova mons, they went with Audino as the sole rep, but I like pretty glitzy things so I dig how it looks.

Real talk though. In a series as bloated and convoluted as FNaF is, it takes a special something to be as "Why the **** are you even here" as the Mimic is.

I think, in theory, having a new overarching villain and finally stepping away from Afton was the right move. Purple Guy always coming back was getting really played out.

My issue is how they introduced him. Unless you were terminally online enough to keep up with the books, you probably had no idea who the Mimic was until Ruin. Making it less of a big reveal and more of a “wait…what the hell am I looking at?”

I’m hoping the new game justifies his existence more.

Game theory: will MatPat suddenly return to Game Theory?

For real, though, I don't know if the franchise or the the developers have gotten much better since the final version of the first game, but like...

Giving them the benefit of the doubt, the first post on it's own just seems like the devs were casually messing with or joking with the channel and guy that's both famous and infamous for over-analyzing any notable game for story and lore answers. I don't even think they were the first or only game devs to do that.

But then they kept going on and on about it and basically begging Mat Pat and Game Theory to contact them, likely for the sake of marketing. The final game ended up being a massive, incoherent and buggy disappointment after being constantly hyped up as this challenging, surreal Hitchcock-esque horror game with a cel-shaded Pixar animation style that changed and got more difficult every time you failed or got caught by the Neighbor. Even if you were just watching people play the game throughout it's various stages in development including it's final release instead of playing it yourself, the decline in quality is noticeable.

Moral of the story: don't make a game for clout or for the sake of making it go viral.

Spore's helped a lot in coming up with my Zeti lore. And their alliance with the Tarkus people is a big part of that! They've been helping each other for hundreds of years, and the Deadly Six have joined numerous top Tarkus warriors in their missions.

And Walking Wake is done now too! I was able to find a Live-chat group through the Scarlet/Violet Reddit. I was even able to help a few players catch Iron Leaves by messing with my system clock. I can finally rest until I feel like going for the Scarlet exclusive Paradoxes.
