He bought it upon himself though by being a complete asshole.

Pollock did a great job as Dr. Eggman over the course of over 20 years, but it's hard to ignore his recent behavior on social media. I do think it's high time for a new voice cast for the Sonic crew and this might be the push needed to happen.

At the very least I want to see a new VA for Sonic. Roger Craig Smith never clicked with me as Game Sonic. He did well in the Twitter takeovers and Sonic Boom, but as Game Sonic he always sounded too old to be him.

There are a couple roles I will say could probably could stand to be recasted. Colleen still sounds great as Tails but I do think someone else should take over as Charmy if she has to strain her voice as much as she did for him in Shadow Generations.

This is always the one I end up using more often than his sister. Mostly cuz I like Latios' stat spread better.

Latios also isn't cursed as hard with association with a mind-scarring fanfic like Latias is, so that helps.

I beat Freezeman in MMBN2, I also got GutsmanV3. Got a pretty solid folder, but I gotta work on refining it a little more. The 2nd Folder's for Boss Hunting, so it'll change around depending on who I'm tryna fight. Freezeman only took like 2 tries. I could've dodged more, but in general, blasting him with Aqua Charge Shots got the job done.

Tbf this kinda feels more like a direction issue, the games are all seemingly one and done takes with Kirk Thorton saying that for Dark Beginnings they actually called the cast back in to rerecord those lines and surprise surprise, Karen Strassman's Rouge didn't sound utterly terrible like usual, then in ShadGens, her Rouge was **** again. Kirk Thorton himself seems to have finally gotten the hang of the role to the point after learning more about the character and not playing him as some highschool bully or something. Especially if RCS does well in some areas but less in others, though for Frontiers they specifically wanted a deeper voice for Sonic which explains why he's like that

Honestly I'd be down for Jason Griffith to come back as Sonic and/or Shadow. No hate on their current VAs - I loved Kirk in Shadow Gens and RCS is good but his take on Sonic in Frontiers sounded too grounded to me. Jason just hits different, I know a lot of Sonic fans who grew up in the 2000s glaze him but it's for a good reason.

Also I feel like Knuckles' current voice is kinda a worse Travis Willingham, I feel like at the very least he should get better direction and aim to sound more like movie Knuckles because that's the best Knuckles has ever sounded imo (I don't think Idris Elba would be viable for a recurring role in the games unfortunately)

These three are based on some REALLY old companies and their logos - the newest of which being from 1920.

The water starter could be controversial given that it's a genuine bonafide Human-Like starter - something we've never gotten before. But I was just too proud of the idea, and the name. I think it'd be a really neat experiment to have a starter like this. That said, I'd still pick Kidaisy cuz flowers.

These three would evolve into starters that'd be equally matched in secondary typings. Kidaisy becomes a Grass/Fairy type, Sparpy becomes a Fire/Flying type of course, and Ozmasis becomes a Water/Ghost type (especially proud of this given how the logo she's based on is infamous for frightening people).

So over to you. Who are you picking? And which logos are they all based on...?

I'm actually really fond of how these came out. I'm honestly kind of scared of doing their final forms of how much I ended up liking these.

But yes, here are your middle stage starters with their sparkly new types!

Honestly an official Water/Ghost starter is probably inevitable at this point with how much GameFreak has been obsessed with ghost-types lately. My prediction is that either Legends ZA or Gen 10 will have a Water/Ghost starter. But honestly I love how mine ended up looking. That there is a true "emo teen".
