I can understand getting tired of a particular subject, but how on Earth does talking about a Nintendo franchise on a social thread where anything within the forum's guidelines can be talked about on a website dedicated to a crossover fighter also owned by and featuring said Nintendo franchise among qualify as spam?

On a social thread? Nothing wrong with that, but I should add that this is a Smash Bros. forum, a forum about a Nintendo game. Given Pokemon's association with Nintendo, and Pokemon content appearing in Smash Bros., it is reasonable to talk about things like Pokemon on this forum.

Tbf they killed the general game discussion threads back when Smash speculation ended iirc.


The only threads nowadays that get any traction are the one dedicated to Smash-post Ultimate, forum games, and RP. Maybe some minor character discussion but that's it really.

Let’s talk about the possible Nintendo Direct for this month for a moment. (We can still talk about Pokemon as well.

While NatetheDrake, if that is his name, said he had no info about a Direct happening this month, another leaker named Jeff Grub said he believed an Nintendo Direct would happen about three days ago, although he was leaning Mini-Direct or Partners Showcase.

Tbh I heard about some stuff in the State of Play that looked neat, Digimon Story Time Stranger looked good and it being shown with an English dub is insane as the games haven't had an English dub in forever though I hate the girl protag's tiny hat. I can just roll my eyes at her side boob window or whatever you call it but that damn hat is annoying. Also that Tides of Annihilation game could be cool, here's hoping it's not like Stellar Blade where the announcement seemed cool only for chuds to ruin any and all excitement I had for the game only for it to be pretty middling. Plus, the protag has my name

One video I saw that covers the fake outrage surrounding the game did speculate on generative AI being used to translate the game to English due to some incredibly off sounding dialogue. Goddess of Victory Nikke, it's a mobile game which is hyper sexualized where the girls squat in front of the camera and their butts jiggle like jello when they fire their guns. Shift Up makes both it and Stellar and last I heard the 2 games were collabing.

Have not played Stellar Blade so I can't speak from personal experience but the main thing I saw from it aside from All That was people being disappointed at how it marketed itself as this DMC-ass technical character action game only to apparently have much slower and simpler combat than it let on. Again, cannot make a comment myself, but yeah it doesn't sound like a game I'd enjoy and the aesthetics are also kind of a turnoff for me, like, I like sexy women and all but what I saw of it felt like it had just zero flair whatsoever
